Positive: A wonderful property in a fantastic location. We stayed at Stuart house for 5 nights and this was a fantastic base to explore the southern coast. The house is lovely, spacious and extremely clean. All six of our guests were comfortable, and enjoyed the classic feel with the modern luxury of the pool and AC. Jayantha was always on hand and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to stay at Stuart house again.

Positive: The house is spectacular. A huge villa with lots of space and stylish interiors. Spacious, comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, air-conditioned bedrooms (the common area does not have AC), a nice swimming pool, and above all, the feeling of staying in a unique place. The location is excellent - a quiet street, a short walk from the beach and the town center (shops, market, etc.). Very good contact with the host. The price is high for Sri Lanka, but definitely worth it.
Negative: Some of the kitchen equipment is a bit worn out, but that's a minor detail.

Positive: The most beautiful home from home. A stunning colonial house in a fabulous location. Krishni the host was so welcoming and so quick with comms. Offering help and assistance in everything! Her house man was also so friendly and helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were such a generous size! The location got us was perfect. There is a supermarket 3 mins walk, and the beach a short stroll down the hill. We must highly recommend the cookery class which is only a few houses down from Stuart House, just incredible! Such a lovely stay, even had some lovely yellow mango and bananas waiting for us! Thank you so much for the stay, cannot recommend here more.

Positive: We stayed at this house with two families with children, and there was enough space and beds for everyone. The owner was very hospitable. There was always a special employee on site who removed insects from the pool. There are air conditioners in all rooms, and convenient parking for several cars. You can sometimes see monkeys, mongooses, monitor lizards, and peacocks on the grounds.
Negative: The essential thing would be to add lighting behind the pool and remove the spotlight that shines directly into your eyes if you sit in front of the pool.

Positive: What a gorgeous Villa just like the photos! So much privacy nestled inside beautiful trees. Had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and dinner on the pool deck. Quick walk to the town and the lovely beach. Jayantha the caretaker so helpful to us. The place was spotlessly clean. All facilities were available in the Villa including a washing machine/ dryer. Owner was so nice allowing a late checkout. Will definitely come again !
