Here at Windy Ridge we offer a very comfortable self catering holiday cottage, "The Chicken Coop" is an open plan Studio cottage and has been created by the sympathetic conversion of a traditional old farm building, the cottage is set in 5 acres of grounds, including our own private fishing lakes. Guests are welcome to stroll around the lakes, relax and enjoy their stay. Designed to offer a relaxing break away from the daily grind and are perfect for those seeking to explore the delights of the many attractions of the surrounding local area.
Windy Ridge cottages is an adults only (strictly no kids) site that offers a pleasant setting for a peaceful break.

Summary: Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. It had everything we needed plus little added touches. Barbara & Luke are both really lovely hosts - very welcoming & helpful. There are beaches not too far a drive away which we visited whilst there as we wanted to take the dog on her first beach visit. A 10/10 stay and we will definitely be booking to go back!
