Calson Park was established in 2008 - A 9 acre property called Calson Park Alpacas. A large 69 square home established a Bed and Breakfast in 2015; welcoming guests from Europe and Asia mainly as well as Japan. The accommodation is a studio - large with a Queen bed, divan, 55” Smart wall-mounted T.V standard fridge. Fully functional kitchen with a dishwasher, cupbuards containing crockery and cutlery. Summary: We loved that this accommodation is away from traffic and on ground level. Private and airy when all windows are opened. Quiet ceiling fan over bed and big smart TV all at a reasonable price. A little bit out of town but that's how we liked it. Great find ;)

Summary: We spent a couple of nights at Mary-Rose's self-contained apartment in order to go to a wedding in Bacchus Marsh. The apartment is very new and modern, and well-equipped with all you could possibly need for a self-catering stay. It is a pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Mary-Rose is nearby, should you require anything, but the apartment is very private, with its own separate entrance and easy car-parking outside the door. The location is very quiet and it is only a short distance to drive to both Melton and Bacchus Marsh. From memory, it was about 10 minutes to Melton, where there are many shops and a big shopping centre for food items. Bacchus Marsh was about 20 minutes away and you could drive there via quiet country roads, rather than using the fast freeway. We didn't plan on going to Melbourne while we were staying here, but there are quite good rail connections to the city from Melton. We would happily stay here again if we were planning to be in the area. Just check with Mary-Rose about driving to the apartment, since residential development over near Melton has affected the accessibility of some roads shown on GPS systems. The apartment is easy to get to, but you do need to know which roads near Melton are open or closed at the time you visit.

Summary: Would highly recommended staying here, located just out of town, it's quite and peaceful just what you need to relax. Mary Rose is a wonderful host, from the moment you book to the time you check out, she makes sure you have everything you need.

Summary: property was clean and host was friendly and helpful. Property is located in easy reach of Melton and Melbourne and gives a space away from the noise of the city. Bed was comfy and the air conditioner provided instant warmth.

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Mary-Rose is an excellent host. She left some cookies and a small jug of milk in the fridge for us. She even gave us some tips on places of interest to visit during our stay there. This studio has its own private entrance and we had total privacy. A short drive from here is the Melton shopping area with nice restaurants.
