If you are looking for the best equipped and furnished holiday apartment in the best apartment complex in the Oroklini at exactly the right price, then you have found it at Cyprus Sunrise.
Stunning top floor apartment with sea and mountain views, communal pool with separate children's pool and jacuzzi, marble tiles and granite worktops. En-suite master bedroom. Balcony area with barbecue for eating and enjoying the views, separate kitchen area. Walking distance to sea, many restaurants, tavernas and supermarkets and two fabulous bakeries! Within easy reach of Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Nicosia and the Troodos mountains. 20 minutes from Larnaca airport. Local activities include mountain biking, a fantastic water park, great go-karting centre and many beach activities including banana boats, fly-fish and for the less adventurous, pedalos.
Oroklini Village: Oroklini (also known locally as Voroklini) boasts over half a dozen authentic Greek tavernas selling delicious traditional dishes, including mezes, stifado, kleftiko and kebabs. Many offer live music and dancing and all have a lively, friendly atmosphere, as well as very competitive prices. A particularly popular choice is Bopeas (locally pronounced 'Voreas'), where booking in advance would definitely be recommended for weekend nights.
The village also contains a variety of bars, two superb bakeries, three supermarkets and a number of other stores. The centre of the village can be reached within a five minutes relaxed walk from the apartment, and everywhere is clearly sign-posted.
About 25 minutes walk from the apartment, you will a find a blue flag beach with water sports and an entertainment strip containing restaurants and bars. This is perfect for both daytime relaxation and activities, as well for finding a delicious meal in the evening.
Larnaca Town: Larnaca is about a ten minute drive from Oroklini, and is definitely worth a visit, whether in the daytime or the evening. The beaches are lovely and the large promenade boasts a huge variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops - both traditionally Greek and international. A favourite with the locals is Militzes, a very traditional Greek restaurant that does excellent mezes, situated just past the end of the promenade.
Just on the outskirts of Larnaca is also a fantastic 1,600m Go-kart track called Karting Center - the biggest in Cyprus. We would personally highly recommend it - it is great fun for all the family with a kiddie track and large restaurant, and is very reasonably priced.
Other Places to Visit: Ayia Napa is the place to go if you have any interest in nightlife, but is also a great place to visit during the day with a family. It has a number of lovely beaches, as well as shops, cafes and restaurants, but we believe the main attraction is Waterworld, a fantastic Greek Mythology themed water park on the outskirts. The park contains exhilarating Kamikazes and high-speed slides, as well as the milder, but equally fun 'chariot' races and rubber ring rides, and plenty of play pools and smaller slides for the little ones. There are also numerous sun beds if you fancy a rest, and cafes and restaurants to eat in.
Nicosia is the historical capital of Cyprus, only 45 minutes from the apartment, and is definitely well worth a visit. It is a beautiful city, originally surrounded by Venetian walls, but has now far expanded them. You can visit the Cyprus Archaeological Museum, and absorb some of the history of Cyprus, or simply wander up and down the pedestrian streets.

Summary: Excellent spacious apartment. Lovely and clean throughout. Great view overlooking the pools and nice secure balcony area ideal and safe for a family with young children. Air conditioned , which was a neccessity in the the extreme heat. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine was also really useful. Designated parking spot located right by the entrance doors. Communication with the owners was also quick and excellent. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Lovely spacious apartment with large balcony. We had a great time here. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, very clean. The pool area is lovely and very quiet when we visited. We visit Cyprus quite often and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Really impressed with the property. Huge double balcony, lovely and clean and really well equipped in kitchen and lounge. Variety of furniture all of a good standard. Home from home and an ideal place for my 13 year old son and I to holiday for a week. Pools were great, my only little gripe was the kiddies pool wasn't cleaned at all that week although the larger pool was very nice. Slightly out of season so this is probably why. Parking port really useful and convenient and stopped car from getting too hot. Well laid out instructions and the easy check in process was less stressful already the keys as we could fly in from Paphos late and drive across the island knowing we could just get in and no one was having to wait if we were delayed. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and there was the bonus of books, DVD player and some games in the cabinet. Two good bathroom and showers/bath and ideal for a small family to stay with plenty of space and facilities. Easy to walk into Oroklini centre if you need to and an ideal base for a holiday in Cyprus. Excellent communications with Vaughan so thank you every much and we looked after your apartment and left it as we found it, we can see a lot of love and attention has been given to this fantastic property and are likely to be a return booker. :)

Summary: Really enjoyed out stay. The apartment and apartment complex was immaculate. The apartment was well equipped and the internet worked well. We enjoyed using the balcony and the swimming pool. It was October so the pool was colder but we still had a few swims and it was nice sitting out next to the pool. There is a number of restaurants in walking distance (10 minutes walk) but would recommend a car if you want to visit beaches or do sight seeing.

Summary: Communication with the owner and the information package prior to us going was excellent. The apartment is spacious with a good size balcony and it contains everything you need for a holiday. The water pump worked really well for both showers and the sinks. It's a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oroklini to Maria's supermarket and a number of tavernas. We were there for nearly five weeks and ate out most evenings, either in the village or other restaurants in the area. A car to get to the beaches and other attractions is advisable.

Summary: Had a lovely 3 weeks at this apartment. Everything you needed was available, and if not a message to either the friendly property manage,Bridget,or the owner,Vaughan was quickly answered and any problems remedied or queries answered. We have been to the village a lot over the years and it is full of very friendly people. A car is recommended but not necessary unless you want to explore the island as the village has good supermarkets and other shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Summary: It's a beautiful apartment, with a terrace with some views down to the sea. It is also comfortable, well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Pool is very nice and clean, our kids loved it. The air conditioning did a good job in the heat (and gosh it was pretty hot in end of August) .We rented a car (and I would advise anyone to do so) as we like to explore the area and have the freedom to go wherever we feel like to go and not to rely on public transport. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and I highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone who would like to spend an amazing holiday in Cyprus.

Summary: Our thanks to Vaughan and Barbara, we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing holiday in their well-equipped apartment in the village of Oroklini, Cyprus. The apartment is very well-located and furnished to a high and comfortable standard, the balcony is very spacious and provides a wonderful external extension to the apartment. Bridget and Chris who are based locally came in to clean during our stay, they were very friendly, helpful and willing to provide for us, as well as ensure we wanted for nothing. We will definitely want to return!
