As you look out from the balcony with a glass of local wine in hand it is easy to relax, enjoy the sunset and noises of the surrounding woodlands. Angelina is located close to the heart of Andalo, Trento with its wonderful new ski lifts that can be used in both the summer and winter months. Andalo is a village with all the amenities you will find in the larger towns such as an ice-rink, 3 supermarkets, huge sports centre with large swimming and leisure pool (with great slide), Cheese and wine tasting shops, shops selling only local produce and of course souvenir shops for you to take presents back to friends and family.
Nearby is the lake of Molveno with its fresh water supply direct from the mountains with wonderful walking and cycling paths. There is also a beach, pedalos, swimming pool, beach volleyball and crazy golf to keep you amused. Further afield is Lake Garda with the stunning views of the mountainside. Angelina is located on a hill 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and overlooks the village so you get wonderful views at night of the life of the village or when there is a festival on get to watch the fireworks from a great vantage point. It is only a 5 minute downhill walk with skis and boots to the ski lift of Rindole.
Angelina is located in a unit with only 14 other apartments which are second homes to their owners. It is a quiet and peaceful residence with lots of parking both inside and outside and very well maintained to a high standard.
Angelina is located on the 2nd floor of one of the side wings with no apartment above it (akin to a penthouse apartment). There is a lift from the ground floor to the apartment so you don't have to carry the shopping or your luggage up stairs. As part of the rental there is an indoor garage and a secure private store room with boot drying rack and ski holders so that you are ready to head out immediately the next morning with dry boots. It can also be used in the summer months if you need to dry out your walking boots.
The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen/living room, larder, two spacious bathrooms and two bedrooms. The kitchen comprises of a dishwasher, coffee/tea making facilities, hob, cooker, large sink, toaster, kettle etc. There is a table and chairs to seat six persons. Next to the kitchen is the larder to store all your shopping. In the living area there is a TV, DVD, games and sofa. The master bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe with shelving, hanging space for all your clothes. In the double bedroom there are two single beds with fitted storage underneath. There is also a wardrobe with hanging and shelving space. In the master bathroom there is a shower, toilet, bidet, sink and a drying rack. In the second bathroom there is a toilet, shower and sink.
Along the outside of the master bedroom and living room is a wooden balcony with BBQ and seating.
Throughout the apartment there is extremely efficient central heating. Giving additional character to the apartment there are wooden ceilings with large beams.

Summary: What a great find and a wonderful 4 days spent hiking and driving in this beautiful region. The town and area surrounding has everything we needed for a much needed getaway (from our Florence to Venice stop) to slow down and enjoy the true (not too touristy) Italy. Helen was helpful via phone or text and Michele (property manager who spoke no English) was polite and hurried. We only had one complaint, the WIFI was substandard (Helen said she would address the problem for future guests) and basically did not function after day 1. So make sure that you inquire about the WIFI! The Apartment and complex is top notch and well built. Very close to everything with private parking. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. Summary: This was our first visit to Andalo and it is certainly a place that grows on you. We arrived in early June which is a very quiet time of year (suited us!) Very easy to follow directions from the Autostrada. The apartment was well positioned, away from the centre with views over the meadows and forest. It was well equipped, clean and had enough space for the two of us. Michele, the local contact was very helpful and patient with my patchy Italian, and the owners were also very helpful and responsive on the lead up to the holiday as well as when we had a small issue to deal with during our stay. There are plenty of walks from the apartment as well as a variety of other walks ranging from a short drive away (Molveno) to an hour (RIva del Garda, Trento, Bolzano and Lago di Tovel, a beautiful lake in the mountains). Andalo has plenty of restaurants from pizza to local Trentino fare (we really liked Al Faggio, which is near the church) and three supermarkets; there are other shops and a handy petrol station. Thank you Helen & Steve for a lovely stay.

Summary: We cannot wait to return we had such a wonderful time. The apartment is close to the ski runs and a short (5 minute) walk into town. We found the slopes in Andalo great with really long (20 minute plus) runs down which was wonderful. The apartment has everything you need and was really well kept and clean. We would absolutely recommend the apartment and are coming back later in the season.

Summary: I stayed there with my son and his girlfriend. It was spacious enough so that we could all enjoy some relaxation without getting in each others way. The walks from the apartment were wonderful and we could be out all day then return to have a relaxing evening with glass of wine on the balcony. We will definitely be back, Andalo was a wonderful village and not too touristy but with all the facilities.

Summary: The apartment was great, centrally located so that you do not have to drive anywhere BUT still had good views. The photos of the apartment on the site did not do justice to it by a long way. It was spacious and bright with tons of facilities. Beds were comfortable and heating really really efficient. Although it was school holiday time there was no-one else in the apartment units whilst we were there so it was really quiet. We found Andalo to be a gem of a place with so much to do. We rented bikes for a day and explored the hills and the valley down to Lake Molveno. We would highly recommend both Andalo and the Angelina apartment.

Summary: A nice little apartment, with a great balcony. A 10 minute (steep)walk from the pretty town of Andalo, which was quiet as we were there in September. Molveno, just a 5 minute car journey away, is a lovely lakeside town. We enjoyed some great walks, using a booklet from the Andalo Tourist Information.
