Perched overlooking its private association beach on Nantucket Sound with half an acre of manicured grounds, this spectacular home can be your vacation oasis. Located in a residential neighborhood, this home embodies the best of Cape Cod. You can experience soft sugary white sand, warm water, and gentle surf merely 50 yards from your door.
This home offers an open concept first floor plan beginning with a Great Room featuring magnificent views of the ocean. A large indoor dining area shares an equally broad view of the ocean through floor to ceiling windows. Abutting the dining area is a fully equipped custom chef’s kitchen, an expansive center island with seating for six, striking Silestone countertops, two sink areas, an extra deep French door refrigerator, ice maker, and Chef’s pantry all ideal for entertaining while maintaining connection with everyone in your group!
Adjacent to the Great Room is the cozy pine paneled reading room centered around a gas-fired stone fireplace. This is perfect space to enjoy games of chess, conversation, reading, or just relaxing.
Upstairs of the main house, four spacious king bedrooms with en-suite baths offer views of the ocean. Flat screen TV’s and USB charging ports are provided in each of these rooms. The fifth main house upstairs bedroom offers two substantial sets of Restoration Hardware twin bunk beds providing secure sleeping quarters for your younger family members. Accessible via its own dedicated stairway but attached to the main house you will find the annex quarters featuring two additional upstairs quiet private bedrooms. The king bedroom with en-suite bath and a private balcony deck overlooks the ocean. There is an adjacent room holding two twin beds. The annex quarters provide a quiet lovely space to offer tranquility and privacy from the main house.
Easily accessible from the outside brick patio is a first floor “Beach Bathroom”. A shower, toilet, two sinks, and shelves for the beach towel supplies makes this perfect for managing active days at the beach. An outdoor shower is also available for anyone needing to rinse the ocean's salt or to shower the kids after building their sandcastles. Adjacent to the Beach Bath is the large open laundry area featuring two washers, a dryer, iron and ironing board, and all necessary laundry detergents.
Two ocean facing covered decks offer relaxing open-air seating for intimate drinks, coffee, or chats. Dining al fresco is made easy with the three-burner gas grill under the octagonal gazebo with interior seating and retractable wind protection. A large gas fire pit is perfect for evening drinks or S'mores under the stars as your night lingers. The expansive brick patio invites you to embrace time outdoors.
Other important amenities include keyless entry, additional refrigerator, central A/C in all interior spaces, WIFI, two CoolCabanas for the beach, twelve beach chairs, six Boogie Boards, Corn Hole Game, and a multitude of kids’ toys. There is parking for six vehicles in the brick driveway. Special arrangements with sufficient advance notice can be made for access to Private Chefs, on site Clam Bakes, fishing trips, and housekeeping during your stay. Enhanced cleaning is our standard. The Ocean House Restaurant, The Pelham House Restaurant, and the Sundae School Ice Cream Parlor are only steps away from this expansive beach front home. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time here and, as anticipated, this beautiful home was fully stocked beyond what is described in the literature.. multiple toys, games, puzzles, books for all ages, every kitchen item you could ask for, stacks of dishes, paper goods, plenty of children's dishes, clothes hangers, bathroom & beach towels, large lawns for whiffle ball, frisbee, bubbles, driveway for kids bikes and sidewalk chalk. Very well maintained, plenty of comfortable furniture inside and out, comfortable beds. Owners are exceptionally attentive if needed... a prefect vacation spot!! They didn't forget anything in making this a luxury spot. All you need is your clothes and food. Nothing beats this amazing rental!

Summary: We’ve been renting on the cape for 17 years now, and we’ve always struggled to find a place on the water with enough rooms where we weren’t compromising on certain features or quality. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the owners at 26 Highbank were the most thoughtful, tasteful, and thorough that we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Every inch of the stunning property was spotless, the finishes and decor were all of impeccable quality, with sleep number beds and blackout shades in every room, and they even went as far as providing toys and games tailored to the ages of our children. The exterior layout is well thought out and beautifully manicured, with gardens and seating areas everywhere you turn. My father, who has had mobility issues for years, was thrilled with the covered seating overlooking the beach where he could spend time with the grand kids and enjoy the ocean. This house is truly one of a kind and we hope to make it our annual vacation spot for years to come.

Summary: The house including amenities was amazing. Everything desired for a beach vacation was there. The landscaping was the best we have ever seen at a VRBO. The views were simply picturesque. On our way out, we met the owners, and they were wonderful. Our only complaint was with the property manager at check in time. We were given the wrong access code and contrary to the owner's instructions we were not allowed to check in upon arrival which was 2 hours early. Yet, after that, the communication with the property manager went smoothly. So, despite the hiccup at the beginning of the trip, we highly recommend this property for a large family gathering.

Summary: WOW! This property was everything we hoped it would be and more, for our family vacation and celebration of my wife’s 60 th birthday. Our large and growing family including 8 grandkids hasn’t stopped talking about the “best beach vacation ever”. 26 Highbank Circle is spacious, well equipped and comfortable for a large group. The grounds are spectacular and safe for the little ones to play and the beach being footsteps away made it very relaxing and fun for parents and kids. The warm and calm waters of the sound were perfect for young children. A relaxing and fun week with our entire family was my wife’s wish for her special birthday. 26 Highbank circle was more than the perfect venue to grant her wish.

Summary: Everything about this property was amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone, multiple spaces to hang out, and it had everything we needed. It was so easy to find everything we wanted as it was all labeled and it had much more than any other Cape home we've ever stayed in. I didn't even need to bring my own baggies and tupperware! The furniture was so comfortable and mattresses were perfect. The location was perfect as we were right on the beach and had the privacy we wanted and we were close to everything. You weren't exaggerating when you said we'd see the fireworks from all angles!! We could even see them in Nantucket! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was a week we'll never forget!

Summary: The house is really well laid out with king beds, en suite bath in every room. Bunk room was perfect for the cousins to share. The location can’t be beat, as you are steps from a great private beach.
