6 Bedroom House in El Farallon del Chiru, Río Hato

Ideal for vacationing safely due to its privacy and safety measures taken by owner.
Only one hour and 45 minutes from Panama City (117 kms drive) and you’ll be enjoying this private and beautiful beach at the Pacific coast. The highway is a 4 lane road from the city and at the entrance of the property, you’ll find a short dirt road that will lead you to our property from the main highway. A map with directions will be provided before your arrival to Panama.
Our home is beach front, just a few feet from the white sand and steps away from the water. An ideal place for families looking for peace of mind, lots of fun and sun with wonderful sunrises and sunsets in front of the Farallon Island and near Santa Clara Beach. We have a salt based filter pool great for people with allergies. The pool is cleaned and its water checked twice a week by a well recognized pool company.
On the second floor, it has 2 master bedrooms, each one with a king size bed, private sea view from an open balcony and a bathroom with sea view in the shower.
2 separate ample rooms (one with 2 double beds, the other with 2 bunk beds: one has a double bed with a twin bed and the other has 2 twin beds). Each has its own private bathroom.
On the ground floor, we have two bedrooms viewing the garden with 2 twin beds each one (can be used separate or as a king size bed if put together) and each with its private bathroom .
There is plenty of space for 10 adults and 5 children and a pack’n play crib is also available. All rooms as mentioned above have its private bathroom, air conditioning, hot water, closets, sheets and towels.
A separate den or family room with a full bathroom and cable tv is on the ground floor. The terrace is an open living room with a sitting area and hammocks looking at the pool and sea. There is also an open dining room (sits 8) in a comfortable and ample space. Another area is the bar with two BBQ's (gas and charcoal) and a table that sits 5. We built a large kitchen area for the family to enjoy cooking while chatting. The fully-equipped, functioning kitchen also includes a 6-burner gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, fridge and refrigerator. All pans, utensils and cutlery are provided. The kitchen has a large glass door leading to the bar and barbecue area which are just near the pool. There is also a washing and dryer machine in the laundry area.
The house has sliding glass doors and windows all around so light and fresh air is part of your daily well-being. A quiet and fun pool with space for all, the small ones included is just there for you to relax and enjoy any time during the day or night.
Just outside the fence, there is a nice wooden deck from which the beach is just steps away, with the water clear all year round. The beach is very quiet, wave are small as Farallón isle protects the coastline.
Minimum stay of 3 nights. Our trusted housekeeper will stay overnight in her quarters during your stay to answer any questions and to clean bedrooms, bathrooms and social areas. She can help in the kitchen if you need her for US$40.00 a day until 8 pm and we ask you to please request this before your arrival.
Parties, loud music or events are not permitted. The property is for families to enjoy a relax and quiet time. Please note that you will not be allowed to bring other third parties different from the ones you register in your request for rental.

Summary: We enjoyed the beautiful beach with clean sand and incredible views of the ocean. The property had a large area where everyone could gather and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the property. However, the house itself needed repairs. The water supply was inconsistent and we had to frequently ask that the reserve be turned on to shower or wash dishes. The pool turned cloudy for a day or so before someone attended to it. The microwave stopped working completely. To summarize, the property is quite beautiful but repairs are needed on the house to bring it up to a higher standard.

Summary: We were a group of 8 seniors staying at the villa—a Nice, quiet, isolated location. Nice swimming pool with easy access to the beach.The bedrooms are comfortable, though each has limited shelves.The kitchen was functional, though the oven, microwave, and toaster oven are somewhat dated.During most of our stay, the waves at the beach were relatively calm - great for children. The sand is white and very clean. The ocean water is murky due to churned-up small sand particles. Don't take your snorkeling equipment as there were few fish and no coral to view. There are many names of beaches in the Rio Hata/Playa Blanca area, though these beaches are identical to the beach in front of the Villa. All beaches are private and inaccessible - it is best to enjoy the pool and beach at the villa.This villa is a good value compared to other locations in Central America and the Caribbean.

Summary: We stayed Jan 2025, four couples. We tried this as something different verses the regular all inclusive type vacation. Location is10 mins from the Rio Hato airport. I'd recommend renting a vehicle from the airport, easy process and allowed us to drive to the Super 99, 10 mins away, where you can pick up anything you need! The pool was perfect, steps to the beach and lots of shaded areas around the house but within reach of still feeling included when others are in the pool. Miro the housekeeper was great, she made the beds daily, cleaned the washrooms daily and had fresh beach and shower towels every two days. We hired her to cook for us, which was great! The only suggestion I have for that part, would be to pre-plan your meals ahead of time, buy the food at the Super 99 and then tell Miro what to make for the meals. I was under the impression that on arrival, Miro would give us suggestions and/or a meal plan with a list and then we would go to the grocery store and pick up all the food. When we arrived, Miro didn't speak English and even with the Goggle translator there was still a bit of a language barrier. We thought she would have the meal ideas as we weren't picky on food and hoping for more of a Panamanian food experience. In the end, we would just show her the meat, vegetables, potatoes, etc. and just ask her to cook it however she wanted. It always turned out good though so nothing to complain about. We would all return in a heartbeat!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the property and would recommend it without hesitation. The property is spacious, well maintained, and the owners are terrific in communicating and answering any questions. Also, having Mira who is the onsite housekeeper come every morning to clean was such a luxury! The property is truly beachfront so you can walk right onto the beach. The beach has a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop so you can enjoy the area without having to go anywhere. There is a large grocery store as well as a number of restaurants within a short drive of the property. A number of the resorts have restaurants, shops and golf courses that you can visit if you are looking for those types of activities. The property has lots of space to stretch out if you have a group with many bedrooms and bathrooms plus outdoor seating. It is located off a gravel road so make sure to get good directions either from the owner or use the link via the VRBO "Map Directions". If you are thinking of visiting Playa Blanca for a peaceful and elegant vacation, then this is the place to stay!

Summary: We had a nice time at this house and the long beach was great for walks. Surf was very calm and very warm water. Good for swimming! Most of the house was clean except the kitchen was not clean at all. Bugs crawling all over the countertop and moldy sink and dirty floors. We had to buy 409 cleaner to clean it ourselves. Miro, the house cleaner, did very little work and spent most of the time in her casita. We had to ask her to clean up the kitchen, floors and wash/dry beach towels for the next day of pool and beach play. We expect that a rental house with a house cleaner on site needs to be done everyday and a thorough job! The VRBO listing also says that the pool and yard has a Hot Tub. There is not a Hot tub anywhere on the property. That would have been nice to have a hot tub!

Summary: They property is lovely. Steps from the beach, wonderful pool. Host were so easy to work with. Anytime we had a question they quickly got back with us. The housekeeper Miro cooked for us all week. Wonderful waking up to breakfast each day. Was a great place for has as we all needed to unplug and relax!
