Woodchester Valley House is located in the beautiful South Cotswolds within the vineyards of Woodchester Valley. Wine tours and tastings are available throughout the year. The famous Cotswold Way walk is located very close to the property which neighbours Woodchester Park and Mansion and is close to the local towns of Nailsworth (1.5 miles) and Stroud where there are many local restaurants and eateries. The property is within 45 minutes drive of the Cities of Bath and Bristol and the spa town of Cheltenham.
A wonderfully contemporary architect designed Cotswolds house located in the grounds of the vineyardโ€™s Woodchester site. Perfect for large groups and families the space offers large well proportioned rooms, as well as offering views across the valley and over the vineyard. Four of the six bedrooms can be superking or twin.

On the ground floor you will find a welcoming entrance hall with a cloak room and boot room. The large living room and the family room both have a log burner. From the family room, bi-fold oak doors lead to a large kitchen diner, with a table that comfortably seats 12 guests. The dining area has a gas log burner. Off the kitchen there is a pantry and utility room. There are patio doors from the main areas leading out to the large garden and allowing you to appreciate the amazing views across the valley and over the vineyard.
Upstairs, you will find six double bedrooms, four are ensuite. The master bedroom has a dressing room and ensuite with roll top bath and walk in shower. There are double doors leading out on to a balcony. The second bedroom with ensuite has a roll top bath and walk in shower. Bedroom three and four have ensuites, one with a walk in shower the other with a bath (shower over).
The fifth and sixth bedrooms share a family bathroom that offers a walk in shower and a bath. All the bedrooms benefit from views. Four of the bedrooms can be made up into twin rooms if requested (please advise on booking).
Outside you will find a large garden and patio, perfect for alfresco dining.
Hot Tub Hire Available โ€“ Please Read Before Booking
We're delighted to offer the option of a private hot tub during your stay. The hot tub is provided and managed by a trusted third-party company, and for bookings of 3 or more days in June, July or August, the hire is complimentary and arranged on your behalf.
Please note: While we cover the cost during these summer months, the hire agreement is between you (the guest) and the hire provider. They will handle delivery, setup, guidance, and collection. Youโ€™ll be responsible for daily chemical checks and following their safety instructions.
For stays outside of June to August, the hot tub may still be available for an additional feeโ€”please contact us directly for further information before booking.
Full hire details and safety instructions will be shared after confirmation. Use of the hot tub is entirely optional and at your own risk.

Summary: This house is even better in person than in the photos! Waking up to vineyard views every morning is very special. The property is so spacious and well decorated and spotlessly clean. Gail and her team who manage the house are wonderful to deal with. We also had great fun wine tasting and having lunch at the winery. Probably one of the nicest vacation homes Iโ€™ve ever stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio and garden. Iโ€™d give it 10 stars if I could!

Summary: The property was wonderful and being right on the vinyard gave a nice location with some activities around. The house had everything we needed to self cater and was a short distance to restaurants and Stroud by cab. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Summary: The house was beautiful; very tastefully decorated, two spacious and comfortable living spaces, full-size chef kitchen and six bedrooms, four of which are en suite. Plenty of room for a family of five adults. It was a pleasure to spend time at the house and in the private enclosed back garden with spectacular patio. The location is terrific, situated between two small towns, one of which is within walking distance. Loads of walks from the house, and within about 10-15 minutes drive from multiple grocery stores. The vineyard tour and tasting was a treat. Very clean. No negatives! Thank you for a wonderful weekโ€” we will be back!

Summary: A fantastic house in a beautiful location, very well equipped with everything you could possibly want or need including a delicious welcome hamper. It was perfect for our family Easter getaway. I would highly recommend this property and when you visit a vineyard tour and wine tasting is a must! The only thing to note is that the property is dog friendly (we had ours with us) but the garden is not secure so they can get out.

Summary: A perfect property for family or friends to get together. We were celebrating a 65th birthday and the house exceeds all expectations. It seemed bigger than the pictures showed and had every luxury and amenity you could want. We will be back for sure.

Summary: The facilities are superb with nothing overlooked.The house is even bigger than it appears online.Although it may appear isolated,I would call it private.It is only 2 miles from Nailsworth and 3 to 4 miles from Stroud a quirky town with a buzz on Saturday with its great farmers market 9 til 1pm.plenty of walking opportunities.Friends or Family weekend or special occasion go for it
