All located on a beautiful 5 acre lot perfect for sledding, snowshoeing, playing soccer, bocce or croquet and just relaxing by the pool or in the hammock. There are 4 fireplaces to enjoy in the winter as well as the out door fireplace. There is a great sledding hill that is located right next to the outside fireplace. Summary: This is an amazing house to stay in and a beautiful location for a weekend vacation. I stayed here with 4 friends for a skiing trip and we loved every minute inside this home. The backyard is a great place to hang out by the fire or in the hot tub, and the kitchen inside is big enough to cook huge dinners for the entire group. Jill was also very easy to communicate with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Summary: Went to look at regional fall foliage. Everything accurately presented online. Wonderful hosts - easy check in and exit. Clean and has a charming classic antique interior. Separate formal dining room, but easy to eat at the more informal dining table as well as the kitchen bar counter. Great kitchen with all you need appliances, dishwasher, griddle, and stove. Several cozy rooms to read or watch tv. Large private yard with massive wood burning fire pit! One bathroom en suite but all other rooms must share the other bathroom. Very convenient location - close to all the historic sites and trails.

Summary: What a great weekend to celebrate our son’s graduation. Jill is the perfect hostess and the house leaves nothing to be desired. With a restaurant quality kitchen and all ancillary equipment the graduation dinner was a breeze. We hope to be able to return soon

Summary: Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with a group of friends. The house was big, so nicely decorated, and the kitchen was SO much fun to use and cook in. It was wonderful lighting a fire in the outdoor fireplace, and using the hill to sled on all day in-between enjoying the hot tub. Some of the rooms in the house aren't even pictured in the listing, so it was better than expected! I also had the chance to meet Jill - she is so sweet. She got out a few pairs of snow shoes for us to enjoy, and made sure we were comfortable and set with everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

Summary: The home is just beautiful in and out with plenty of room for a large group. There were just four of us but we found the home to be cozy and comfortable as we gathered around the kitchen fireplace in the morning with a cup of coffee and at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Everything you need for a great stay has been provided. The house is centrally located so visiting around Vermont is easy. Jill was a pleasure and available to answer any questions. Plan a stay here at this wonderful home, you will not be disappointed.

Summary: The home was well equipped. We didn't lack for anything. The pool and hot tub provided entertainment. The best part was the outdoor fireplace. The fires were perfect. No smoke escaped the chimney. The extended wood bins kept the warmth around the fireplace. We were about 10 minutes from Rutland. This was an easy trip for groceries or yoga. Great family vacation.

Summary: This home was very spacious and comfortable for two families, with a total of 10 people. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the hot tub, fireplace and grill as well as the amazing kitchen. This was a great spot for a large group to gather but also had plenty of space to spread out and find a quiet spot to rest. If we ever make it back to the area we would love to stay here again!
