Welcome to our gorgeous 2/2 Penthouse (La Palapa #703) located above the highly distinguished La Palapa Restaurant, on the sands of Playa de los Muertos, in the heart of the Zona Romantica. Our unit includes stunning panoramic beach and Banderas Bay views, air conditioning in all rooms, free wifi, cable flat screen TV in living room, pull-out couch in LR, fully equipped kitchen, high quality linens and towels, filtered water, in a concierge building, right in the heart of the most beautiful area in all of sunny Puerto Vallarta. Enjoy fine dining downstairs, and literally take the elevator down to the sand and find a great beach chair to lie out and enjoy the tropical breezes and warm waters of Banderas Bay. Or take the few short steps up to the roof from our penthouse, and enjoy a dip in the pool with panoramic views of the city. Housekeeping is provided daily (except Sundays and national holidays); a laundry service is a short walk away so you can drop off your clothes in the morning and get them fluffed and folded while you are relaxing and sunning or sightseeing, or diving, or shopping or whatever you love to do on your vacation.

Summary: This was my 20th year staying in LaPalapa Condos. I’ve stayed in several different units including 703. But, since Allen and Stewart bought and renovated this unit, there is no place else I want to stay. New kitchen, bathrooms, air conditioning, furniture and the artwork!! In a word, “Perfect”.

Summary: My husband, mother, and I spent 10 nights here over Christmas and New Years - it was a perfect rental, perfectly situated, and in a fantastic city! First the practical aspects - my mother has mobility issues so the elevator and the walk-in showers were perfect for her, plus the easy access to the beach, several nearby restaurants, and shops made her able to be a part of things. Next, the condo is lovely, exactly as pictured. It was recently renovated so everything is stylish, new, & in great condition. The balcony affords a gorgeous view of the beach and nearby beach restaurants, as well as the magnificent sunsets. We had coffee there every morning & cocktails every evening. You can see the bay from almost all the rooms. Another aspect we loved - the staff. The cleaning woman was super nice & did a fantastic job. We've stayed in many VRBO properties & having daily maid service is a luxury! We also really enjoyed the front desk / concierge staff who are there 24/7. They were there to answer questions, bring up new big bottled water jugs, relay any issues to maintenance (we had none), make recommendations and even just to chat about Puerto Vallarta. ALL the staff we met at La Palapa condos were so genuinely nice and interested in making sure you had a great time and had everything you needed. Next wonderful aspect - La Palapa beach & restaurant. Wow, is all I have to say. Our first experience was renting loungers on the beach and ordering lunch to our chairs (which we thoroughly enjoyed & repeated many times). We then discovered they make the BEST margaritas we've have ever had (we loved the regular margarita w/ reposado and "skinny" ie. no mixers). The guys working the beach loungers were amazing - remembered you from day to day, adjusted your umbrella, your chair, delivered your food & margaritas quickly. I can't say enough about how wonderful they made our beach experience. We had dinner at La Palapa on Christmas Eve at a beach table - everything we ordered was unique (ie. not boring), beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! We also joined them for New Year's Eve dinner. It was not cheap ($200 pp), but the food was amazing, the staff super, the DJ & dance floor fun, drinks free flowing (those margaritas I mentioned). Probably the most fun NYE we've ever had. We LOVED Puerto Vallarta. A charming, welcoming, safe, diverse & comfortable city! We will be back & we hope to stay at this FANTASTIC property.

Summary: Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. I've never stayed in this room before but I've stayed at this location many times, it is definitely one of my favorite places to stay!!

Summary: We had an absolutely outstanding holiday. Our hosts were very responsive to our inquiries throughout our stay. The building is super safe and the condo is only 1 flight up to the pool.
