4 Bedroom House in Waitahanui, Five Mile Bay (5 mile bay)

Very modern, warm comfortable house with 2 huge verandas, one at the front and one at the back of the upstairs living area. A wide staircase leading straight down to the lake - watch children playing on their bikes or on the lakefront from the veranda. There is a bike path at front of house which joins The Lion's Walk pathway into town.
Sun all day in upstairs living area, fireplace for the winter and under-floor heating in downstairs bedrooms which heats rest of house.
7-minute drive to Taupo township. 1 hour to Whakapapa ski field.

Extras: We have an additional fee of $120 for the cleaner and $100 for bed linen hire per stay.

Summary: Very awesome spot. The house is good for the extended family. The contact was nice to deal with. The cleaning was good but not excellent. But one thing we found hard being in middle of a cold snap is it took awhile to heat th downstairs up. An it was ice cold.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous bach - the photos do not do it justice. Bridget was fantastic and very patient with my many questions before the trip. A truly memorable family Xmas. We would love to visit again :)

Summary: Great location. Awesome set up for 2-3 families. Direct access to safe beach and path for kids to ride bikes etc. Lots of parking. Loved it. Would definitely book again!
