Hello and welcome to the Maier cabin!
This cabin is a No Pet Zone-
No Exceptions!
Built in 1955 this rustic cabin sits on the north end of Silver Lake, Washington on the way up to Mt. Saint Helens. Johnston Ridge Observatory is only 53 minutes from our cabin!
Silver Lake is a favorite of kayakers, paddle boards and all water sports. Fishing is great here and bass tournaments have produced record size bass on a regular basis. Visitors may see bald eagles, osprey, river otters, deer and more. Across the lake from the cabin is the only area in the state that hosts wild horses. In cold weather, cozy up to the fireplace and toast marshmallows or smores. In hot weather the cabin has air conditioning. We have a fire pit outside by the lake!
The cabin is one bedroom with a queen bed and a walk-in closet. There is a comfortable queen hide-a-bed in the living room. There is a corner shower in the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, bowls. We have both drip and Keurig coffee machines to brew your own coffee to enjoy on the covered deck overlooking the lake.
Use the dock to fish, tie up your boat or wave runner or secure your kayak.
No parties/events/No pets
No smoking in the cabin!
You will be charged for any damages you or your fellow occupants incur.
You will need our prior approval from us if you want to have a guest over.
If you want to have a guest the cost is $50.00 dollars for a day pass per day per Guest! The Maximum of guest’s allow over is (4) per day. We will collect the money in advance and the guest will need to sign a waiver.
If the guest is under 18 we will need a parents signature.
No guest will spend the night!
You will be responsible for your guest on any damage’s incurred!
Please let your guest know the rules.
If you or your guests go out on the water please wear a life jacket!
There is only 3 feet of water by our dock so NO DIVING!
As you get out further in the water the deeper the water will get.
Remember this is not a party cabin NO EXCEPTIONS!
