Summary: We had a fantastic week here. Monique and Danny are great hosts and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The gite is well equipped and very comfortable - and also stays cool during the day. The pool area is fantastic and the kids loved the games area. Monique and Danny provided an incredible hamper when we arrived and also made pizza for us one night, which we really enjoyed. It was lovely to sit around for an evening and get to know them! We definitely hope to return!

The pool area is brilliant with comfortable furniture, fridge/freezer, BBQ and shade! There are multiple areas to sit and enjoy the views, as well as a bar area with outdoor games like darts and table tennis. The gite itself is perfect for a family of four - cool, clean and comfortable. Dan and Monique are generous hosts, providing amazing goodies to welcome us, as well as other lovely touches as the week went on, including a pizza night! We would love to return!

Summary: Fabulous stay! We were made very welcomed by Dan and Monique who are great. They were there if needed but also respect your privacy at all times. They provided a welcome pack which after a long day of travelling was massively appreciated. Yummy!! The grounds are well kept and loads of places to relax in the sun but also shaded. The private pool area is something else, all the things you need in order to enjoy yourself. Inflatables, sturdy sun beds, huge fridge for wine/beer and a BBQ. Seating area for eating and relaxation too, also let’s not forget the swing to watch the sunset and the hammocks!! We were also treat to pizza night, homemade chutneys and homegrown veg, just fabulous. Our dog Alfie loved meeting Louis and Hannah, resident dogs and they had lots of fun playing. There is a dog pool in the pool area too. We stayed for 2 weeks and probably our 5/6 visit to France, but this one topped it as we had amenities to ourselves that we usually share so win win, everything has been thought about and you can’t go wrong choosing this place if you want total relaxation, and explore the region. Thank you!! 😃

Summary: One of the best holidays we have had ( & we like our holidays!), it was perfect in everyway! From the moment we booked there was brilliant communication with the hosts Dan & Monique, the gave us perfect directions and places of interest pre arrival. On arrival they were on hand to greet us and provided a beautiful platter of cheeses & meats, plus wines and home made chutneys with fruits from the Gites grounds. They also provided a basic hamper of butter, bread, milk & croissants for our breakfast and regulary left us gorgeous home grown produce off their land. The Gite itself was exceptional, extremely comfortable and had everything you needed and more - an incredible range of dvds, books and games - if you decided to leave the pool that is! The pool and pool house ( with fridge and plastic glasses ect) is ideal for relaxing and provides a serene & unspoilt views in complete privacy. There is also a small games area, with baby football, pool, boules & darts which our two boys loved spending afternoons on. The real gems of this gite though are Dan & Monique themselves, who are amazing hosts, while on hand to help provide info for the local area , they are also not intrusive , they offered us a wine & pizza welcome evening and a star gazing night, with cookies and hot chocolate all of which were very enjoyable evenings & lots of fun. Our boys absolutely loved the hosts ( & Louis & Hannah!) as did we & we were all sad to leave. We hope to come back one day! All in all if you want the perfect rural relaxing gite holiday, this will not disappoint, thank you again Dan & Monique for letting us stay in your beautiful gite.

Summary: Can we go back please? A wonderful, well-equipped gitè in glorious country-side. The pool was fantastic and equally well-equipped with the pool house with shade, additional seating and fridge/freezer and oodles of additional outside space. To be honest, we didn’t really need too much else but there are plenty of great attractions to visit locally from river beaches to chateaus to cultural museums. Dan and Monique are amazing hosts - they offered helpful information on local spots to visit, went to great lengths to support our gluten free son and enabled us to get the very most out of our visit. The star-gazing night with hot chocolate and brownies was out of this world. All without intruding on the privacy of our holiday in any way. If you have the opportunity to go, you won’t regret it and we are very much hoping to return.

Summary: This was probably the best holidays we've had as a family. The owners, Dan & Monique were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had a wealth of information about the local area, and further afield and gave us lots of information on places to visit along with places to eat. On arrival there was a generous food hamper along with homemade produce so we didn't have to think about shopping for a couple of days. The Gite was a home from home and was lovely and cool on very hot days. The pool area, which also has a BBQ, fridge, sink and seating area was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. There were plenty of sunbeds too around the pool for topping up your tan, and if you are feeling brave, three hammocks to relax in. There is a lovely garden too near the pool area, with a dining table, umbrellas and reclining chairs. I can't recommend Dan & Moniques property enough. They have thought of everything to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. We are looking forward to booking again soon.

Summary: A beautiful gîte in a peaceful location with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Dan and Monique strike the perfect balance as hosts; they were around when you needed help or advice but we never felt a lack of privacy. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A delicious welcome hamper awaits you on arrival. The swimming pool and pool house are amazing and the games corner kept our teenagers entertained for hours. The gîte is very well placed for visiting the region but is also ideal for those who want complete relaxation. A special mention for the dogs Louie and Hannah who were our little rays of sunshine! Thank you for this unforgettable holiday; our only regret was not having booked for a longer stay. We thoroughly recommend and hope to return at some point in the future. Merci beaucoup Dan & Monique.
