The perfect place sitting nestled in the hill side away from the towns noise and bustle, fully south facing, you can relax on your vast private terrace or by the pool, look at the Mediterranean sea and soak up the Andalusian sun.
Featuring 2 bedrooms: a full double bedroom with doors opening out onto the alfresco dining area and views of the valley to the sea. The adjoining fully equipped bathroom features a double walk in shower, single sink and toilet. Bedroom two is a twin bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with full bath, separate shower cubicle, twin sinks and toilet. Modern Air conditioning featuring heat and cooling has been installed in each bedroom and the living room for your comfort.
The covered terrace and cool alfresco dining area, equipped with a ceiling fan, leads to a large open terrace with a gas BBQ and to your own private secluded swimming pool where you can relax and take in the peace and tranquility of La Quinta.
Featuring as well a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need to prepare delicious food: A Chefs delight! Also includes dishwasher, washing machine and a full range of kitchen equipment, utensils, tea towels as well as kitchen essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, tea, sugar and cleaning products.
The spacious sitting room features TV and WiFi (Max 50Mbps) with a Fire TV stick featuring Netflix and Amazon Prime for you to log into your own accounts should you wish. Three sofas and cushions for your family to lounge on, one of which becomes another double bed for guests with five or six people.
Our property has been looked after by ourselves for the last six years and we leave nothing to chance, we maintain, clean and service the whole apartment ourselves so you can be assured of a high standard of cleanliness and functionality.
La Quinta is protected by a modern whole house water filtration system and we also provide a filter jug in the kitchen so the water is perfectly safe to drink. You can find in the sitting room a variety of reference and reading books for you to enjoy throughout your stay. The apartment is completely self contained and independent with its own private entrance. It is in the lower part of a country house built in a traditional rural style. The Property is set in beautiful Andalusian countryside in its own gardened grounds and guests are welcome to take a walk around it and enjoy an early evening cocktail.
The property is reached down a concrete exterior drive from the tarmac road and is accessible for taxis as well as cars. There is parking available inside for 2 cars. The backdrop to the apartment is of the mountains of the Parque Natural Sierra Tejedas, Almijara y Alhama, renowned for its walking trails, and the stunning views to the front are of the surrounding countryside and opens down to the Mediterranean sea. There are three pet cats living on the property but you will probably not see them.
The white village of Frigiliana, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in Andalucía is a 3-minute-drive away. Frigiliana has many restaurants and shops as well as banks and a local bus can take you from there to the coastal town of Nerja about 10 minutes further on. Nerja is a popular town, which still retains its original charm although sympathetically developed over the years. Nerja, famous for its Balcon de Europa, its caves and its various beaches, has many bars and restaurants, vibrant nightlife, shops, outdoors adventures outfitters and supermarkets. The apartment is also ideally situated as a centre for exploring other areas of Andalucía, being under an hour from Malaga, 1 hour from Granada, 2 1/2 hours from Cordoba. Summary: Absolute perfection! We stayed at La Quinta for 6 wonderful days during our half-term holiday at the end of May - myself and my two sons aged 14 and 11. We had a fantastic time. La Quinta really is a lovely place - instantly relaxing and the perfect place to potter about and recharge the batteries. The view from the terrace is stunning - looking out over the mountains and out to sea. The outdoor space is superb with a lovely shady outside dining area, beautiful gardens and a wonderful private pool. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. There is a lot to do in the area - if you can tear yourself away from the delightful environs of La Quinta! We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and my sons have said many times what a great holiday it was. Thank you, Nick and Manou, for your very warm welcome and hospitality, and for creating this magical place. We hope to return!

Summary: La Quinta is a lovely place to unwind and relax! Everything you need away from home is at your disposal. Thoughtful details such as ironed sheets make this a grand stay. Thr home is situated with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean and is located minutes away from the lovely village of Frigiliana. Checkin is a breeze - a plus after a long journey. Your hosts even provide a few lovely snacks and provisions to get you settled on Day 1. Emmanuelle and Nick are warm and gracious hosts and extremely accommodating. I highly encourage a stay in their beautiful home.

Summary: We could not have asked for a single thing to have been better. If you stay at this property, you will have the best time. We have stayed at VRBO's in Europe and North America, and this was the best experience we've had. The accommodation and hillside location with spectacular mediterranean views make it hard to beat. They have put a lot of thought into the details to ensure it feels like home. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. They answered all our questions and provided great recommendations for sites to see, restaurants, parking etc. They hosted us for dinner one evening and that was one of the most memorable experiences on our trip. We cannot recommend this property and these warm exceptional hosts enough.

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic week here - Nick and Manou have carefully thought through every detail of the property, with each room well equipped and finished to a high standard, and were wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The pool and other outdoor areas were real highlights for our family, with stunning views of the coast and the mountains. We massively appreciated the air con too! It was lovely to find some essentials in the fridge when we arrived, and we loved exploring nearby Frigliana and Nerja too. We couldn't recommend this highly enough!

Summary: If you've got this far - book La Quinta for a relaxed, comfortable and memorable stay. We could not fault anything and this was by far the best appointed villa we have stayed in. Everything Nick and Manou have prepared was beyond expectations and provided us with the best service as hosts. The pool is exceptional, bedrooms were spotless and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more and the view is to be seen to be believed. Frigiliana is a stunning town with plenty to see and do and lots of lovely places to eat and drink. There are lots of activities and locations to visit to suit all ages and interests. Our first visit to Spain and we will be back!

Summary: We have just spent the most idyllic week at La Quinta. From booking to throughout our stay the communication from Nick and Manou was fantastic, they gave us really clear directions to the property, met us on arrival for a tour and were available throughout on whatsapp for lots of helpful recommendations and information. They could not have been more welcoming. The property was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed or wanted. The wine in the fridge on arrival and the cool box for the beach were particularly appreciated! The property was cool, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had complete privacy and so much outside space with beautiful views from the terrace and the pool. The journey from Malaga airport was very straightforward and the property was easy to find despite being away from the town. It was so peaceful and idyllic with Frigiliana being a 10 minute drive and the beaches/town of Nerja 20 minutes away. Frigiliana itself is so beautiful with so many excellent restaurants. We would absolutely love to return and would recommend La Quinta highly to other couples/friends wishing for a relaxing and peaceful holiday spot.

Summary: Let’s start with the negatives - there are none. This property comes with literally everything you need. From seasoning to straw hats, from pasta to privacy. It is a stunning home from home with the most breathtaking of views. Nestled in the hills above Frigiliana, La Quinta is pure sanctuary, hosted by the most wonderful couple who are incredibly generous with their time and attentiveness. From the booking process to ongoing communication and directions to La Quinta, our journey went as smoothly as could be, even with our late inbound flight, both Nick and Mannou were there to meet and greet us in the early hours. They even did some shopping for us so that we didn’t have to run to the shops, not that we’d have needed to; all the essentials were already there. La Quinta is a stunning Spanish Villa, almost Finca like, in a gated and quiet area. Parking is easy and safe as is getting unloaded and settled in. The swimming pool is fantastic, there is a BBQ, air conditioning, laundry facilities and a kitchen laden with every utensil possible. Both bedrooms are next to a bathroom/shower room each, one of which also has a bath tub. The lounge area is so comfortable with TV and all the channels you need in every language. We fell in love with La Quinta, and with its perfect hosts and we will be returning regularly, even out of season.

Summary: We spent the last 12 nights of our month long trip of Andalusia. Our hosts Nick and Manou were extremely friendly, accommodating and shared their wealth of knowledge to assist us in navigating this stunning area of Spain. We have travelled extensively in Europe and this is the best place that we have ever stayed. Clean, attention to detail and an absolutely stunning view. We can’t say enough about this place, could’ve have stayed for a month.
