Welcome to our stunning mountain retreat, at Beary Cozy Cabin! Our home is located on Cowee Mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains, near the charming town of Franklin, NC.
Featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 half baths, our cabin is the perfect getaway for up to 12 guests. Enjoy our expansive deck with a hot tub and breathtaking mountain views, perfect for seeing the natural fog that gives the Smokies their name.

The highlight of our home is the stunning natural scenery, best seen from our expansive deck which is in full view of the picturesque Great Smoky mountains. Relax and unwind in our hot tub while you take in the scenery and peace that comes with this quiet mountain abode.
The home itself receives lots of natural light thanks to plentiful windows, many facing the mountains. The large kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals, complete with multiple seating areas. You’ll find the rustic furnishings throughout the house provide a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The downstairs common area also features a pool table for your enjoyment.
Our cabin features four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed, while upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms with a king and a queen. The lower level offers a king bedroom and a media room with a futon for two. Additionally, there is a bunk bed located in the loft, each with a twin bed. Two half bathrooms are available in the common areas.
Guests enjoy access to the entire property except for two locked closets, which contain extra cleaning supplies and personal items of the owner.
Beary cozy is located in a private, gated community, nestled in the quiet mountains.
You'll find there's more than enough parking for eight vehicles at Beary Cozy.
Our cabin is conveniently located just an hour drive from the Biltmore Mansion, 30 minutes from Cullowhee and Western Carolina University, and an hour from Asheville. Atlanta is about two hours away. If you're visiting during the winter months, Cataloochee Ski Resort is about an hour away.
You’re also just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Nantahala Gorge, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation, offering numerous opportunities for outdoor adventures. Hiking, camping, biking, fishing, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the activities available in the area. You can also enjoy scenic drives and visit numerous waterfalls, such as Cullasaja, Dry Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
If you're looking for local dining options, there are several fantastic restaurants within a 20-minute drive. Ms. Lois' Restaurant and Kountry Kitchen offer classic diner and breakfast fare, while 828 Cafe serves up American/Latin fusion cuisine. Lucio's offers delicious Italian food, and Haywood Smokehouse is the perfect spot for barbecue. For those craving Mexican food, El Charro is a great option.
Since you’re immersed in nature, our home is surrounded by wildlife such as bears and raccoons, which may be attracted to garbage bags that may be casually left out. Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beary Cozy while in the area for my daughter graduation from Western Carolina University. Gorgeous views, sleeping arrangements were perfect, and there was something for everyone between the game room, hot tub, and sitting outside on the porch overlooking the amazing view. We dined in Franklin and visited the Rose Creek Mine. We would definitely rent again!

Summary: This was a 3 generation family trip, and was near perfection! The views are stunning, the home is well laid out and they have thought of everything you would need when away from home. This is the most well stocked kitchen I have ever had at any stay. Decent cookware, plenty of utensils, bowls, etc. even some spices in the pantry. Plenty of towels for the hot tub and showering. Each upstairs bedroom has its own climate control fan/air conditioning. Hot tub is well maintained and very clean. Outdoor dining area and sitting area has plentiful seating. Wonderful, well kept place. Highly recommend

Summary: My niece was married at the Vineyards at Betty’s creek and we needed a place to stay for the weekend. The house had plenty of rooms for our large family. Every room has its own bathroom which was a plus getting ready for a wedding all at once. The beautiful Mountain View is amazing from inside the house or outside sitting in the hot tube. Last night watching the sunset in the hot tube with my children was such a forever memory gift. We had questions about things in the house and Jeanette came right over and was so nice and helpful to us. Thank you for sharing such an amazing house with my family. We will be stay at this house again when in town.

Summary: We had a wonderful time enough room for 3 families. The gate openers did not work we had to put in code everytime, no big deal. The owner called to let me know the starelink was hit by lighting so no wifi, no big deal for my group. There no out side garbage cans had to drive around to dumpster we did not like putting garbage in our car this was aggravating.

Summary: The pictures on vrbo do not do this property justice. It is so magnificent and spacious! We thoroughly enjoyed although we had no Wi-Fi or phone service throughout our stay.

Summary: Had a great time! There were definitely things that could be improved but they did not impact the time spent there! Internet wasn't great, most of our group couldnt connect. The hot tub needed some attendance in the cleaning department and the cieling in the kitchen leaked when the shower in the room above was in use. The cabin could also use a "welcome binder". Something that includes check in information, check out information, quirks of the cabin and maybe things to do around town. Other then that the view was simply amazing and our group had a wonderful time! Lots of things to do within a 20-30 minute drive!

Summary: We had four couples on our trip and there was plenty of room. The cabin itself was gorgeous with amazing views and a great location with really only one other cabin nearby. The drawbacks really had to do with the extras/amenities. The pool table, ping pong table, and accessories were old and falling apart. Internet was spotty at best. If you plan to cook you will need to bring oil/spices and anything you use to cook outside of the pans. Overall, the cabin itself, location, and views were all a 5/5 but would give a 3/5 for everything else.

Summary: Property was very clean and room enough for four families. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was excellent. We wished the Cabin had been decorated for Christmas since it was the first weekend in December but other than that everything was excellent!
