Summary: The home has everything you need and is located a very short drive from shopping and dining. As the listing indicates the views are wonderful from either the large upper deck, the main floor livingroon or the patio located below. A field bordering the property provided a great place to let the dogs run around. Super location for a large family.

Summary: Amazing views of Nelson and Lake, and in close proximity to the town of Nelson, and hiking trails. Overall, house was ideal for two families to stay, as there are three full bathrooms (all with showers), and can easily split off basement and upstairs (kids can be upstairs, while others are still sleeping). Really appreciate being able to be in contact with owners (Town of Nelson power went out) and that house had all the amenities in place. We would definitely recommend this place to others in either the winter and or summer.

Summary: We weren't sure if we were going to make this trip as it was smokey from the forest fires..but we had no choice as it was too late to cancel. Glad we didn't as this place was really nice!! Plenty of room for us all to hang on our own or together. Love the location,garden, the beach and the house. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Summary: This home was so comfortable and very well equipped. Lots of different living areas, both inside and out. The art was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This house had every ammenity you could want. (Except for air conditioning which is the norm for this area.) It was an unusually hot week for our stay +40° everyday. It did have a small portable air conditioner unit that helped with the kitchen area. Beds were super comfortable and the area was very quiet. The house was able to accommodate the 6 of us with few beds to spare. The yard was beautiful with many levels to the landscaping. Location was very easy to get to with alot of beaches close by. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the fabulous memories Nelson B.C.

Summary: We had 3 young children and 6 adults and had a great time! Rooms were great, kitchen, towels, supplies, all stocked really well. We did lots of beach trips which were all close and easy to get to. Great tv if you need that and wonderful decks to sit and relax on. Also, lots of wonderful books for all ages to browse through and enjoy!! We hope to be back!!

Summary: We had a great stay at this artful, spacious , well equipped and cared for home. It has comfortable beds, a spectacular view of private gardens and lake and lots of indoor and outdoor areas for spending time together.

Summary: The property was amazing. It really had a ‘lived in’ feel with all the amenities you could want including a spectacular view and garden! We were a group of 9 (4 adults and five children) and it fitted us perfectly. There was room for us all to get together or be separate so that was excellent. We would love to go again next year, but go a bit longer! Highly recommended!
