Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at Paul’s place. Everything was clean and felt new. Paul was very accessible to answer any questions we had throughout our stay and was quick to solve any minor issues that we had, such as the golf cart not charging properly. We can’t wait to find an excuse to do another weekend on Copake Lake at Paul’s house.

Summary: What a week! Before I get too far into it I would like to thank Paul and Emilia for being such outstanding hosts. Your home is beautiful, immaculate and everything you said it would be. The house is right next to the golf course, as you pass through the privacy gate it seemed to take you right into the calming, quiet hills of the Adirondacks. The landscape professionally taken care of and the home was beautiful. The house offered an open floor plan with a gourmet kitchen stocked with everything we needed for the week. The huge living room had soaring ceilings with a big fireplace, a large wet bar and sliders opening to a screened in porch with a glimpse of Lake Copake through the trees, just across the street. Each couple had a large bedroom, each with its’ own bathroom. The main level master bedroom and bath was really nice!! I am a bit of a germophobe yet felt very comfortable. Each morning 2 of us had the opportunity to walk to the dock area and spend a couple hours quietly fishing while the others slept. Every other day we scheduled a tee time for late morning. The course is well laid out, very well kept and our pace was perfect for a relaxing round. Those who didn't go golfing hung out at the lake on the dock, swimming and relaxing in the sun. We either cooked dinner at the house and ate on the porch or walked across the parking lot to the golf course restaurant which had an excellent menu and very fairly priced. Late evenings consisted of hanging out on the porch having drinks and laughing deep into the night. I just can’t express how relaxing the weekend was. This summer we plan to bring our motorcycles with us and ride the winding, rolling hills of the area. The house is perfect for a family vacation, reunion of just a bunch of people getting together. I can't recommend it enough and looking forward to getting back this year!

Summary: Thank you Paul and Emilia for hosting us! You and your house made our stay PERFECT! We loved the smart system in the house, so technological, having the music come out from the walls wow I loved it, and the karaoke was so much fun, thank you for leaving that all set up for us. The house was very well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed to have a nice family dinner in a formal dining room for the New Year’s Eve. The bar was also great. We watched movies by the fire place, the Christmas tree was beautiful. The bedrooms were very clean and each of them had their own bathroom. I was the lucky one to stay in the master bedroom with its amazing shower (spa). The house was very spacious, made us feel so comfortable. The house has a very nice view of the lake and it’s close to supermarkets and liquor store. Paul was great, He responded to all my messages very quickly and answered all my questions. Thank you Paul and Emília ! You have a BEAUTIFUL home! We cannot wait to go back to casa do lago, we guys will definitely hear from us again.
