Summary: We scheduled this family Thanksgiving trip several months back. When I found this listing, i saw a negative review and brushed it off to someone just being negative as it also had many good reviews. Communication with host initially was good, once we checked in we discovered that there was no heat in second level and had a radiator heater that wasnt fully going to heat up the place. After contacting host he agreed to send us more radiator heaters, well they didnt get delivered until our last night there. We also discovered after out first night that the reason the place was so cold and could not get warm was the fact that the rooftop access door was broken and would not shut close therefore all cold was coming in. I reported that to the host as well and he once again assured me his handyman would come fix it and never did. We had to find towels to stuff in the openings to prevent the cold from coming through but that didnt work very well. We all froze through the night and needless to say the experience wasnt the best. The apartment is in need of some caring as well. The pool table in the middle of the living area takes a ton of space and makes it hard to get comfortable. the windows facing the street have no shades and the sound comes right through there all night long. Host agreed to make it up to us by offering transportation back to the airport for our groups. They showed up for the first group but never showed up for the second group. Very disappointing!

Summary: The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. Full kitchen, laundry, three full baths, living area with lots of comfy seating. Even though I had requested it the night before, I still had to message the host to get the check-in info when we arrived, which was a problem because I didn't have internet and had to hotspot my computer off my kid's phone. I finally did get a hot spot and the host texted me the info right away. The internet in the apartment is also dreadfully slow. The host did give me an alternate wifi login which was enough to check email but not enough to work off. The tv was fine, so I'm not sure why we couldn't get the regular wifi to load. Anyway, the location is fantastic, and the space is awesome. There's a very pretty little park right across the street and although it's in mid-town, it was still pretty quiet. The beds are soft and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The apartment was roomy. We had enough bedrooms for the nine of us and three bathrooms was adequate. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. The location was excellent- close to the subway, taxis and good eating places. The internet didn’t work well and we would have liked shades on the big front window. The dogs in front of it served as a sleeping space for my grandson.

Summary: Great property for large group. Only warning is there isn’t an elevator and could be difficult for those with mobility issues as apartment is really on 3rd and 4th level of building.

Summary: Stayed here with a group of 10 friends. Upon arrival there were many empty glasses & alcohol bottles with a handful of broken drinking glasses in the living room and handprints all over the windows. The home states is sleeps 12, but it only has enough beds for 10. There was not enough toilet paper & the curtains had to be fixed. There was also no dishpods for us to run the dishwasher and the pool table was filthy with many stains. The property manager was responsive, but it took at least 2 tries to get them to come fix the things that were asked. The patio is also blocked off and unusable. For the price I would not say it is worth it. It also is a very loud street that the apt is located on. Overall, I would not recommend this property. I was extremely disappointed with this property. The only plus was how close it was to the subways/major attractions.

Summary: Would absolutely recommend this property in Turtle Bay. The location is perfect for walking to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and even Central Park (all 0.4 - 0.7 miles away). Subway is also close by, allowing access to the entire city. Probably one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed in with plenty of room for our party of 6 with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. 3 full bathrooms was the icing on the cake. The host is very responsive and responds quickly. Will definitely visit here again.
