Summary: This unique gite has been renovated into a modern, well appointed, comfortable self catering studio for two guests. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The gite is on a treed hillside overlooking a small village with shopping 15-20 minutes away. Central to many lovely villages and walks/hikes in the Tarn region. Just one hour from Albi and Carcassone.

Summary: We loved our stay at Claire and Ian's pretty gite. Quaint and cosy, it was very well fitted out with everything we needed. And the location is an excellent centre from which to visit so many of the lovely towns and villages in the Languedoc area. Claire and Ian were great hosts, on hand to help out with local information, not to mention providing us with wine and cake!

Summary: We loved this gite. It was just right for two. Every aspect was of the highest quality, like an extremely comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, modern shower room etc. There is plenty of interest in the surrounding area and good shops and all necessities within about 20 minutes drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Summary: We had a wonderful week in Boissezon, a small village but less than 15 mins to full facilities in Castres. We explored many of the nearby towns, highlights including Hautpoul, Lautrec and Castres itself. We might have gone to many more, but a week wasn't long enough. Claire and Ian were perfect hosts, very friendly and affable, always available to answer our questions and provide anything we needed, but other than they left us to ourselves. We would love to come back and explore more of the region one year (we are from NZ, so a long way to go). Highly recommended.

Summary: Had a great stay at this Gite. Perfect as a base for cycling, walking or just enjoying nature. The owners really looked after us in an unobtrusive way. Located in a very rural area but just a short drive from everything you need in nearby Castres. No hesitation in recommending this property.

Summary: When we arrived, we understood very quickly why Claire and Yan are on the Saint Jacques de Compostelle path! They have a very strong and perfect sense of the hospitality and have a total dedication to their host. Their well-designed and clean house is a lovely place to stay when you want to discover this nice region.

Summary: Situated in the Tarn Region in a lovely village named Boissezon, close to the town of Castres. The Gite is very comfortable and the accommodation is all on one floor (no stairs). Claire and Ian are a very welcoming couple with a beautiful young son named Remy. Lots of intereting places to vist around the area, plus not that far from Carcassone.

Summary: A little difficult to find first time. A super little place, ideal for two who want to do their own thing. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. You will be made to feel most welcome and will be spoiled by the cakes provided and cooked by the owners. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a base for touring the region. A car is essential.

We where made so very welcome by claire and Ian, you could not wish for such a kind and warm couple, we can't recommend this gite highly enough and would return as we loved the area and the friendly locals, we feel we have known Ian and claire forever! Summary: Our week at this delightful apartment was perfect. The accommodation was stylish, comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean and the owners were welcoming and available in case of need. All in all we had a lovely time with plenty to do in the area (a visit to Minerve was a highlight, as recommended by Claire). We were also pleased to find that, though the weather was hot whilst we were there, the apartment remained comfortably cool being shaded by many trees. The location of the property ? on the edge of the small village ? is ideal: quiet and restful, yet accessible, and there are plenty of walks available starting right at the front door. Overall we can't recommend this property highly enough and we'd certainly love to return at some point.
