Black Peak Lodge is a large, comfortable 4 Bedroom / 4.5 Bathroom home (each bedroom has its own bathroom, 2 are with ensuites). Suited to a large group or family, or 2 families - the house comfortably sleeps 9.
An easy 10 minute walk to town takes you to the Lakefront and to a great choice of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as easy nearby access to biking and walking trails. We are well set up with all the home comforts you'll need. Spacious well equipped kitchen and dining area - well set up to entertain. WiFi, Sky TV (incl. movies, sport). Substantial garage has a Laundry, a games room with a ping pong table, foosball table and dart board and ample storage. The house has gorgeous mountain views and enjoys stunning sunsets from outside and in. The property is fully fenced.
(Please note that this property has an apartment downstairs that is owner occupied. Note that this is fully private from the house, properties have separate access and outside living areas).

Summary: You’ll never find a more accommodating host than Scott. Thank you, you’re a responsible and resourceful host. His home is wonderful. Large kitchen, hot tub, to relax after long hikes, wonderful sleeping accommodations…and so much more. Excellent location, 10-15” walk to downtown.I definitely will recommend this home to friends and family traveling to this wonderful country of New Zealand.

Summary: Two coworkers and I stayed at the house for a little over two weeks. Scott was a fantastic host and was super flexible, allowing us to extend twice. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of spices and oils, and there were many comfortable places to hang out. The house has a great view overlooking the lake, you can see over the lake to the far shore but not much of the water itself. The backyard had loads of lavender in bloom, and even got to snack on some raspberries from the garden. There is only one driveway parking space, but there is street parking to one side of the house. Beds were comfortable to boot. All and all a great stay for a great price!

Summary: This house was perfect for our family. Big with enough room for everyone, but still felt homely. The garage with its games was an added bonus that kept the kids occupied for hours as was the spa. Scott was a great hose too, very promptly responding to every concern.

Summary: This place is amazing, the location is great, right next to town and the views from the patio are beautiful! A fabulous home for a family and friends to enjoy, rest and celebrate in after a busy day snow skiing, bike riding and just enjoying Wanaka. The kitchen was lovely and spacious, to have four bathrooms was a treat. Very luxurious having a spa pool to rest and re energise in after a full day on the ski slopes. The barbecue was great for preparing a large dinner for friends. Scott was excellent with his communications and supplied us with lots of wood for the exceptional fire. It helped create a memorable holiday in a beautiful spacious home.
