Kick back at Sage Haven, our lovingly-maintained, 3,000 sqf cottage on beautiful Bay Lake. Just 2.5 hrs from downtown Toronto.
This expansive 4-season cottage is perfect for your family and friends, with ample space to gather indoors and out.
Enjoy the main level's cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, Muskoka room, and chef-worthy kitchen.
Make yourself at home on the lower level with a 55” TV, ping pong table, and workspace.
For your comfort, all 4 beds boast Queens and the loft sleeps 4.
WIFI AVAILABLE! We have Starlink so it’s fast and reliable. Please use your own login details for your favourite streaming platforms (Netflix, Crave etc.).
The space
Sage Haven is a stunner, inside and out. Every detail is carefully designed to ensure your peaceful and luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The moment you walk in the door and see the custom-crafted kitchen, marble countertop, and wide-plank hemlock flooring, we know you'll immediately relax in your home away from home.
Outside the cottage, the beautifully landscaped stone pathway will take you past the fire pit and down a shallow slope to 130 feet of shoreline and our spacious dock. In the warmer months, you can dive off the end into 10ft of refreshing, weed-free water. The dock has ample space to fish, read a book, catch the rays, or enjoy some daybreak sun salutations. Brand new canoe and kayaks are for you to explore the lake and its gorgeous surroundings. Snowshoes are provided so that you can hit the trails during the winter months. Nama-stay all day!
Other things to note
High season bookings (Victoria Day - Labour Day) are subject to a 7-night minimum booking, with check-in in Saturdays. Off-season bookings require a minimum of two nights and can be booked anytime..
Dogs are welcome, and are subject to an additional $125 cleaning fee. Pease let us know about your prized pooch when you book!
Unlimited high-speed Starlink wifi is available throughout the cottage. Great for video calls and streaming.
The dock is pulled up for the fall/winter season but during you can still enjoy the lake from the upper dock area. Due to safety reasons, there is NO water entry without the dock
For winter bookings, we recommend driving to the cottage in a vehicle with all wheel drive and winter tires. Although the roads will be plowed, we get a lot of snow up here and it’s always best to be prepared. Also, please make sure you have great footwear to handle snowy and icy paths. It can get slippery up here, especially if you head down to the fire pit/lake. Make sure to watch your step.

Summary: The cottage is everything you need to enjoy Muskoka! The cottage is very clean, spacious and is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the water, dock, fire pit and the indoor amenities. Communication with the host was prompt and very responsive. A true gem!

Summary: This property was just as advertised, we have been renting cottages for years, this was by far the cleanest one we’ve stayed in. It was also very well stocked up with everything you would need. Big cottage that’s great for a bigger family. The owner is really prompt getting back to you if you have any questions. Overall a great spot for a family vacation,

Summary: The property was well maintained, clean and well stocked. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the stargazing was amazing during the one clear night we had. We also had a lot of fun playing table tennis. We would definitely recommend this property!

Summary: We had a great Family Day weekend at Sage Haven. The property is beautiful, with lots of spots to gather indoors and out. We were 2 families and found the space very comfortable. The cottage is very well stocked from the kitchen to the walk out basement. Our group loved the big selection of games, puzzles, ping pong and more. We would definitely come back. The host was also very responsive to any questions we had.

Summary: The cottage is just beautiful . The property owner’s detailed instructions made our stay worry free . We really enjoyed the huge downstairs recreation room.. lots of room for the kids to play. and adults to enjoy board games and ping pong. Also a perfect sitting area to relax and enjoy movies on the large TV. Upstairs there is a cosy living room with a gorgeous fireplace, huge kitchen and dining area. Everything is perfect for a wonderful family holiday.

Summary: The cottage was well kept and very homey. All ten of us felt very welcome. No shortage of supply either from beddings, kitchen utensils, board games. Tap is potable and high water pressure in shower . I would like to commend the owner as well for being responsive to all my inquiry and very hospitable. We all enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer.

Summary: Let me first off start by saying I’ve rented many cottages before, but this cottage is a gold mine! Kate is the most incredible host, she is kind, attentive and her communication was amazing ! She bent over backwards to make sure we had the most incredible family vacation. The property is immaculate and fully stocked. There was never a moment of boredom between the amazing outdoors, the gorgeous local scenery, the game room in the basement, fishing, and large family tables where many games were played! The beds were extremely comfortable, the sheets were soft, and luxurious! If you have not booked a stay here yet, what are you waiting for! You will not regret it! It will easily become your Favorite family vacation! <3

Summary: A beautiful home with everything you could need . Quiet road with a lovely muskoka room and gorgeous views of the lake. I would say the only thing I would change is heavier curtains and blinds for bedroom windows for those who like to sleep in or like it darker, even the full moon brightened our room . Highly recommend otherwise, comfy beds, stocked kitchen and very clean.
