4 Bedroom House in Alpena

The perfect getaway with an all direct access to a sandy walk out beach, on the Long Lake Sandies. The open floor plan downstairs includes a queen bedroom right off of the dining area, next to a full downstairs bathroom, and a second bedroom which features two twin beds. Also located downstairs is your main living area featuring a large dining table(seats 6), an open kitchen with an island and bar for extra seating, large open living room with an amazing view of the deck and Beautiful Long Lake!
Up the stairs, straight out the sliding door is the beautiful top deck to view all the lake activities. Upon being upstairs you will find a bonus bunk room which features two full-size beds and two XL Twin beds (perfect for book reading), and a master suite with a king size bed and a large walk in closet with 2 extra rollaway beds, and a full size bathroom. This lake front property is in the perfect location to watch the sun set after a full day of play! Once that sun is down unwind with s'mores at the fire pit.
Only 8 miles from downtown Alpena, which includes lots of shopping. & restaurants. Located right on U.S 23 N for easy access. Arzo's Amusement Park is only 3.5 miles from the cottage which includes mini golf, driving range, bumper cars, go karts AND MUCH MORE!! Rockport State Park is only 4 miles from the cottage and that has many hiking trails, and a boat launch into Lake Huron, with parking. The cottage has many family bars and restaurants around it on the lake. Hide-a-way Bar and Grill and Long Lake Supermarket, which serves pizza are within minutes. Sand Bar and Grill serves a full menu, and has a boat launch and parking for vehicles and boats that are pulling up to eat. After you launch stop on over at the famous Long Lake Sandies and relax in the warm, shallow water. Once the sun is setting dock your boat at the cottage's private dock! Close to hiking trails, lighthouse tours , glass bottom boat rides , beautiful Lake Huron for rock fossil hunting fishing, ice fishing, snow shoe trails, cross country skiing, outdoor adventure available in all 4 seasons !
We provide complete bedding assemble , bath towels , hand towel , wash clothes, beach towels, kitchen towels, pots pans, dishes and enough essentials to get you started .

Summary: Our stay in Alpena was great! The house had a fabulous layout and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The deck out to the dock and lake was wonderful. The kids enjoyed paddle boarding (we brought our own, although there is one available onsite) and floating in the lake. The adults enjoyed the deck and beautiful view of the lake. Our family would definitely stay again!
