The cottage offers a huge family room with fireplace, roomy kitchen with sit up bar, another living area with 2nd fireplace, 2 bedrooms, and 1 full bath and half bath. (Sleeps 8 comfortably) A large deck runs the entire length of the cottage and a huge backyard for all your outdoor games. The beach has hard sandy bottom - great swimming area for children. All within steps of one of the cleanest lakes in MN. Paul Lake is a deep lake, great for fishing, water sports and swimming. Summary: This property was perfect for us gals, amazing deck with a gorgeous view. We sat there every morning and night! Nice big dock for us to tan on and we took advantage of the kayaks! So close to Perham if you needed anything. We will be back again someday!

Summary: Summer Breeze is AMAZING!!! How many times have you said “our rental is better in person than the pics.?” True! The lake view from Summer Breeze is beautiful! The house was sparkling clean, very easy check-in, fresh peonies from the yard on the kitchen table which overlooked the lake. Did I mention the deck was huge and all main rooms (kitchen, family and living room) faced the deck and the beautiful quiet lake. Amazing lake view! The kitchen was very well supplied, and parking was easy and plentiful. I repeat….5++++ stars on everything! Thanks to owner Sally and husband Ron for everything!

Summary: We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay on a beautiful lake front property. The deck facing the lake was enjoyable and on windy days we could still enjoy the summer weather on the front side of the home that had a nice yard. Loved it!

Summary: My family of 4 stayed 6 nights here and it was wonderful and comfortable. Ron and Sally were the best hosts we’ve ever encountered through our numerous Vrbo rentals. So kind, generous, thorough, and checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. My family enjoyed the kayaks, bikes, fire pit, bocce ball, and the sandy beach. The deck was also a wonderful space to have morning coffee and look out at the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the most part. The only thing that wasn’t provided was shampoo/soaps/coffee/condiments but that wasn’t a big deal. We had a few rainy days (which we loved) and we were able to use the smart TV to watch a few movies and shows. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to coming back. And thank you Ron for the fresh garden vegetables!!

Summary: This was another great experience through VRBO. Hosts were great, property was great and Perham is close enough that we could make a quick trip, if need be.

Summary: Sally and Ron, Couldn’t have been better hosts. They took a personal interest in ensuring that we had the best experience possible. The house has everything you might need. We’ve rented many, many places over the years, but this was by far the most fulfilling. Our 5 year-old daughter has asked more times than I can count before we even left, if we can come back.

Summary: This vacation spot is as close to heaven as you will ever get. Our family of 8 lived very comfortably there for one week. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some more. The patio is a bonus and the view is spectacular. We left there well-rested and full of peace. Thank you Ron and Sally, you are amazing hosts!!

Summary: This is a great place to stay and the owners were pleasant to deal with. I've been vacationing in Ottertail Country since I was a small child and love going back. Will stay here again before a resort any day!!

Summary: We had 3 generations together and there was something for everyone! Swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, yard games, and a fire pit. Ron made sure our stay comfortable and memorable. Very nice cabin with beautiful views!
