Summary: We stayed for a 2 week visit in November 2024. The facility was extremely clean and immaculate! The pictures don't do it justice. Check in was very easy. And this place is also about location, location, location. You will be hard pressed to find a better location in Parksville. If you did not want a car for your stay, this is the place to be; everything is within walking distance. While we had a car to visit places outside of Parksville, we never needed it within town and put a lot of miles on our shoes. You will be very happy staying here.

Summary: Very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Nice outdoor space. Rooms were a little stuffy and the fans provided were just too loud. But great overall.

Summary: Paul and Jasmine clearly care about all the details. Everything from the decor to the extras are well thought out. This house has it all, soap, shampoo, hair dryers, air purifiers, fans, bbq, etc are all there. The huge shower has 3 heads, there is a tap above the stove top, everything is clean and modern. The location is great as it’s right across from the grocery store and walking distance from the beach. It is kitty corner from Orca Place so having an alarm is great. We highly recommend this place!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul’s place. It’s been completely remodeled on the inside with brand new finishes and appliances, and was super clean and bright. We enjoyed having lots of TVs, laundry, a full kitchen and bbq area, beautiful bathrooms and lots of space to hang out. Very easy to feed and entertain our 2 year old. Across the street from the grocery and liquor store, and a five min walk to the coolest playground/splash park I’ve ever seen. That kept our toddler very happy for the entire week. One portable AC in the kitchen that could probably use a buddy on the opposite end of the house. On hotter afternoons we could get a nice cross breeze going with the windows open, though. The bushes could use a little snip! I kept getting whacked by the plants when I walked to the back. Lovely stay. We would definitely come again. Thanks Paul!

Summary: Excellent location by shops and fairly close to the beach. The interior of the house was quite spacious and the space was exactly what was needed. TVs in every bedroom, and recently renovated. The deck is fairly nice too. The only aspect lacking was air conditioning. There is one portable air conditioner available to be set up for the entire house, and the designated location for the air conditioner is at the opposite end of the house from the bedrooms. This meant we needed to always have the bedroom doors open to cool the rooms. Even with running the AC full blast all day and night, the primary bedroom was 25 degrees at midnight.

Summary: We had a great weekend at the Summer House. We enjoyed walking to the beach, making great meals and sleeping in the comfortable beds. Everything was clean and the host’s response to our questions was very prompt.

Summary: The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. The yard was needing some TLC but perhaps that is because we were there in April. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would stay there again.

Summary: Beautiful house with all the necessities. Close to the beach and restaurants. We had a great stay and found communications with the owners fast and easy. Definitely recommend if you are needing a place to stay in Parksville.
