Positive: It felt like home away from home. Breath taking seaview. Relaxed. Very close to the beach and Ski Boat club. Lovely decorations and furnishings. Fully stocked kitchen. My toddler loved the balcony. Balcony is child safe which I appreciated a lot.
Negative: The bathrooms could be upgraded a little bit. Especially the toilets. It all works well. It's just the design of the bathroom and spacing. It was not a big deal, but having a better bathroom design, especially the toilets, would help a lot. Otherwise, it's excellent value for money.

Positive: Location and upkeep of Summer Place exceptional apart from the back garage section which needs a clean up and paint. We have been staying at Summer Place for over 40 years and now I get to take my grandchilden. The veiws from the top units fabulous. Shops and resaurants within walking distance.
Negative: The furniture on the patio far too big and heavy for the space. Back bedrooms there were no bedside tables or bedside lights. The only plug fitting in our room was not working, not repaired while we were there despite reporting the problem. No clothes horse apparently it was broken but not replaced during our stay. All the taps in the bathrooms and kitchen leaking. Bathrooms very outdated need an update. Could do with a few more kitchen utensils. Probably the most uncomfortable couches I have ever sat on. Would be a tight squeeze for 6 adults inside luckily the weather was good. Play area for kids needs an upgrade.
Summary: Will always keep coming back to Summer Place just not this particular unit.

Positive: What I loved most is that the shops were a walking distance. The Ski boat club is right next door with a lovely restaurant. But the apartment itself needs an up do. The beddings were the worse. The feathers were pokey when sleeping and were not clean. The shower was so small and out dated. The area at the braai place had dog poop and lighting at the braai area at night very poor. Very disappointing. The kitchen cupboards and the room cupboards were smelly. There was hair in the eating bowl taken out of the cupboard. Sorry to say the cleaner is not doing a good job. Had to vent myself. Terrible experience. All thanx to bookings.com for messing up our bookings. And giving us a place like this at the last minute. Lucky for us we had good company that took out minds away from all this. We travel alot to different places. This was the worse.

Positive: Location perfect, the sea views are endless, proximity to the mall, clean and neat property and so peacefull. Grounds are kept neat as well as the pool. House had everything that your home has , this property def is a home away from home. Highly recommend.
Negative: Just a suggestion, but had absolutely no effect on my stay, bedding (duvet) comforters would def be more than enough, feathered duvets are awesome however the feathers are sticking through and feels like thorns pocking, but lucky it was so humid you dont need a duvet.
