THE FOUR WINDS Cottages are RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE OCEAN at Mile post 17.5
8310 S Old Oregon Inlet Rd in lovely South Nags Head.
Four winds #1 is decorated in a Tropical decor and is SENIOR FRIENDLY. Only one level, with no stairs to climb.
We provide an amenities package-starter package for all guest's. It includes the following:
Sheet sets for all beds(WE DO NOT MAKE THE BEDS WITH THE SHEETS. YOUR SHEET SETS WILL COME IN A VACCUMMED SEALED BAG), one towel set that the house sleeps, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, 2 bars of soap per bath, 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, and one travel size bottle of dish soap.
Inside, you’ll find the the comfortable living room has leather furniture and a Coffee Table with Foosball table built right in!
There are also SMART TVs in the living room and bedrooms, FREE WI-FI and a DVD player.
Over the Winter we updated/remodeled this kitchen and we even added a dishwasher.
A fully equipped kitchen is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. Or you can enjoy the yard and barbeque on the charcoal grill. Eat on the picnic table for a nice meal in nature.
The pleasant Screened In Porch allows you to enjoy the Ocean breezes without those pesky bugs.
Not your turn yet for the shower? No problem. The outdoor shower has hot & cold water and is enclosed for privacy.
This home is ideal for small families, including the four-legged members. There is even a fenced in yard!

Summary: Nice place with fully stocked kitchen. Great location and price. Rooms could have better lighting for reading. Would lovecto stay there again.

Summary: My family and I stayed at the Four Winds many summers in the 60s. The cottages are just as wonderful today as they were then. Comfy and cozy and well-stocked with the necessary amenities. I highly recommend them.

Summary: The cottage was underwhelming due to its age and outdated decor. The furnishings seem to have seen some use. Even though you’re at the beach, it would be nice to have a large screen TV at night and instead of a DVD player a Roku (or similar). The “fenced yard” for the dogs isn’t practical and all rocks. The check in process was easy and the cottage was clean. The public beach access is about a two minute walk away - you have to cross a busy highway. Negs Head is a wonderful city along with all the small OBX cities. Also, the property manager hung out at the end of the driveway while we were packing - seemed like he was checking to make sure we left before 10am.

Summary: My family has stayed at this cottage multiple times over the years when we visit the outer banks. The cottage is very accessible to the beach (just across the street from public access) and to the rest of nags head. The cottage is clean and small, but perfect for those who aren't looking for a whole mansion and like it cozy. Not the most up to date, but was exactly what we needed overall. Will use again!

Summary: The rental was a wonderful place to stay. There is a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and close to many local attractions. The house has beautiful decorations. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances.

Summary: Upon arrival no issues getting inside cottage. It was neat and clean no fur baby smell. The kitchen well stocked with whatever you needed. Living room furniture and bed very comfortable. Screen porch was nice especially in the evenings. Easy access to beach. Also if needed turn to the right when you leave the cottage and it’s a Handicap accessible beach access a block away on Hargrove St. where life guard building is (Public access ) They have a parking lot also . Summary: This cozy cottage was in the perfect location. The kids could ride their bikes everywhere and the private beach access was across the street. Excellent food near by and nice shops. Cottage was clean and tidy, it came with basic amenities. I liked the bedding was packaged ready for us when we got there. Would stay again for sure!

Summary: My husband and i stayed at this cottage when visiting our son and wife to welcome their new baby. The cottage was.perfect for the two of us and our dog, Casper. I was able to make food for the new parents. We enjoyed all the comforts of home. I kept saying i have never slept in a more comfortable bed. We had all the things we needed in the kitchen. Casper enjoyed the daily walks to the beach, just across the street. I would highly recommend this cottage!
