This 2 bedroom/1 bath lake house is located on Lay Lake in Clanton, AL. Both bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. There is a gas grill and charcoal grill but we do not provide the propane or charcoal. Please bring your own if you wish to grill. It’s 20 minutes right off interstate 65. The Apple Maps leads you straight to the house but please note, the last mile is a dirt road. It’s very close to the public boat launch and plenty of space to tie up your boat at the house. If you bring a boat trailer, please note you must be experienced in backing up a trailer! There is not a good turn around spot if you pass the house and we recommend backing the boat trailer down the driveway which can be tight but doable.

Summary: The property was comfortable. It is the first time we had stayed right on the water. It was so nice to not have to load and unload the boat every day. The owners were fantastic and easy to communicate with.

Summary: This is the 4th time staying at this home. We just love it. The owners are very nice and will get right back to you if you need anything or have questions. We always stay at this home for any fishing trip we plan on lay lake. The home is well supplied from plates, pots and pans, towels, cups, chairs, propane grill etc..
