Settle in and relax in this newly remodeled home just 1/2 mile from Battle Run on Summersville Lake. Our house is large enough for the whole family and private enough to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Our home is located 1/2 from Battle Run Campground on Summersville Lake, nestled away from the road in a private wooded area. Ample parking area if you have multiple cars or are bringing your boat. We have a new fire pit and fire wood provided.
*in the winter months, please be advised you will need 4WD vehicles to drive up the gravel driveway.*
Inside, the home has been completed remodeled in 2021 down to new studs in the walls. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Washer and dryer are included to do laundry during your stay.
If you have a large party, our neighbors also have an Airbnb that sleeps 6-8 next door. Search for “Peaceful 3-bed, 2 bath cozy home near the lake”
We have a coded lockbox with key for convenient entry. Please use the back door to enter.
4WD vehicles are preferred so you don’t spin the gravel out on the hill. It is a shared driveway and if this happens we will have to charge for repair.

Summary: The house was just as advertised. Very clean and absolutely adorable. Check in was super easy and the kids LOVED roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We’d definitely rent again!

Summary: We loved this house so much! The location was perfect to get to the lake in maybe 3 minutes. Little restaurants around if you need them. It’s beautiful in Summersville! The house was exactly what I expected from the photos and was perfect for our family trip with kids and adults. They provide more than I ever expected, to accommodate every type of guest. The kitchen also had every utensil and appliance we could imagine! The couch and beds were extremely comfortable. We had such a great vacation! :) I highly recommend booking here - I’d come back any time! The host is also extremely responsive and helpful.

Summary: This was a fabulous place. One of the best I've stayed in. It's listing is exactly what is there and more. Well stocked, clean, spacious and family friendly. Molli was terrific and was available for any questions - all the way down to the power outage thanks to the WV storm. Couldn't ask for a better host! Thank you! We definitely plan on going back.

Summary: I do trevel a lot ( recreational and work related ) and this is one of the best stays we’ve had ! We had two families in the house ( 2 couples and kids ) 10 people total and we had enough space for all of us. Everyone was very comfortable, just like home , kids didn’t want to leave… House has all that you will need and much much more ! 2 minutes frome lake and beach! There are even chairs for the fire pit and fire wood to use ! Also i was happy to see blackstone grill ! Very nice way to cook breakfast for 10 very quickly!!! 100% recommended!!!
