Summary: The house was lovely, quiet, and very peaceful. We had a big group (8) and we all fit very comfortably without being on top of one another. We appreciated the charms of the house and would definitely stay again when in the area!

Summary: The house was beautiful and the perfect size for my group. The hosts were communicative and easy to reach. The historical house has some quirks, but they make it more charming. It's a great distance from several state parks. Highly recommend this place for people visiting Harriman or Bear Mountain.

Summary: We went up for short visit with several family friends. It was comfortable for all of us . We went in to visit West Point for a tour and then a football game. I asked for a dinner recommendation that would work for our large group and it was a hit. Thank you to the host for a very good recommendation. It was a nice stay. We agreed that if our group of 10 people went back we would certainly be willing to stay here.

Summary: For our purposes it was a great location, outside property could have used some yard work. Had difficulty figuring out how to use one of bathroom lights, had planned for 14 people only had 7. Some bedrooms not good for taller people.
