With extensive lakeside walks you will really enjoy just strolling around and taking in the lakeside views. Quiet and peaceful but with lots to do.
Two Children's playgrounds very close by. We can offer two bikes as well as two tennis rackets / balls etc for the free tennis courts.
Town however is only a 5 minute water taxi away, with a water pick up wharf less than a minute's walk away. ( cost is $10 per person )
The Kelvin Heights golf course is a chip distance away. This is certainly one of the most stunning golf course locations anywhere.

Summary: Ben met us and showed us round and made us very welcome. We had just arrived from a long haul flight so we were glad of the welcome. It was the perfect base for a couple of nights as we orientated ourselves to NZ. Leave 20 minutes to walk to the ferry.

Summary: Lovely location with nice amenities and beautifully peaceful. Bit of a druve from town but water taxis close by and golf course was very close.

Summary: Property was in a lovely location with friendly owners. Everything was beautifully clean and had all the basic amenities. The kitchenette was a little awkward but had everything you would need.Due to being downstairs, noise from above does filter through. Has an outdoor space for warmer nights and lovely views up to the mountains and over the lake to the lights of Queenstown. Approximately 30 mins to both Coronet and Remarkables ski fields and 10 mins drive to all the amenities of Frankton without having to go into the main center (unless you wan to!). There was plenty of room for a family of four with the ability to house more people if required and there was a full laundry which was great.

Summary: The accommodation was as described by the advertisement. The hosts were very friendly but discreet. The short trip to catch the water taxi which is a convenient way to go to the town centre was great! Would definitely recommend this abode and would happily stay there again.

Summary: Very great place. Neat and tidy, in a very beautiful environment. My partner and I had a great time there. The lakeside only a minute-walk away from the house is idyllic. The hosts are a lovely family with two adorable kids living upstairs. We had great discussions with them, and they were very useful in recommending things to do and see around. We'll certainly come back as soon as we can.

Summary: We didn't have long but we really enjoyed our stay here, if only we had more time! It is a peaceful location and a lovely beach by the lake is just a 3min walk away. Getting the ferry into town was easy and fast (and surprisingly cheap at just $6). The drive is about 15 minutes. Ben was a friendly and helpful host, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. Comfy bed too! Thanks guys, we will definitely be back :)

Summary: Easy quick communication but we felt the place was a bit tired looking in the unit. With owners living upstairs every movement heard downstairs. Cleaning was basic but a few areas missed eg edges of the table windows. Kitchen was a bit clumsy with not much bench space and having to get cooker or microwave out of the cupboard to use on the minimum space bench. Not enough plugs in living area for electronic devices etc. enjoyed our stay as it was very close to the golf course but for the price probably won’t stay again

Summary: Friendly host family with a war reception. Nice quiet location away from Queenstown. However, the kitchenette is poorly stocked and all the utensils were greasy and dirty. Not enough kitchen surface space and the cooking plate and mini oven that needs to be plugged in next to the sink made it extremely tricky to cook a meal for a young family. Mostly the noise from the host family upstairs made getting an early night difficult, every cough and footsteps can be heard from above which woke us up unfortunately. Probably best suited for a couple who doesn't need to cook.
