3 Bedroom House in Tom Nevers, Nantucket

Enjoy this summer retreat, a short stroll (2/10 of a mile) from one of the most beautiful ocean beaches on the island. On the second floor wraparound deck you have peeks of the water and cool ocean breezes. There is a large grass yard as you enter the property, and manicured gardens throughout. The large open living room and kitchen/dining area are on the second floor along with the master suite and spacious en-suite bath with oversized jacuzzi tub. Kitchen has granite countertops and is fully stocked. The first floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. House has flat screen TVs and an in-window air conditioning in the master bedroom. Wash off from your day at the beach in the outdoor shower. Enjoy an al fresco meal on the brick patio with teak table and chairs. The upstairs deck can be accessed from the living room door or from the master suite sliding doors. Take a short stroll to the beach, bike to the charming town of Sconset, or drive into the center of Nantucket with its many restaurants and shops. Visit the Old Wharf, the Dreamland movie theater or the numerous galleries. You can also find boating, fishing, paddle boarding and much more.

Summary: We had an amazing vacation in this rental home. Location was terrific - it was in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and less than a 10 minute walk to a quiet/secluded beach. Just a few miles from charming Sconset center and a 6 mile bike ride to the Nantucket town center. The house was very spacious and well laid out for our family of 6. It was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you would need for a family beach vacation. A great layout, very nice/unusual to have 3 bedrooms with king size beds and 3 full baths. It was really nice to have an outdoor shower too. Outdoor space was terrific, a large deck with a bistro table and chairs, lounge chairs and also a separate shaded area with a grill and additional seating for 6+. A magical stay, we are already looking at our calendar to come back next year!

Summary: We had a wonderful time and stay at this house! The beach was excellent right down the walking path. The ocean breezes and view from the kitchen on second floor were beautiful and we enjoyed the comfort of the beds and slept well each night. All around a very memorable time in nantucket and look forward to coming back to visit each summer!

Summary: Fabulous all around!! The hosts, location, the whole house from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms, the amenities, the deck, the beach chairs, the attention to detail, the flowers and the lawn and the garden, even the library and the artwork are just great. Summary: This is my new favorite place to stay on Nantucket: a well-appointed 3 bedroom house (w 3 newly redone/stylish bathrooms) w/in walking distance (5") to the beach. The wraparound upper deck is a great place to relax/read w distant views of the ocean--& because it's on the upper level, you feel as though you're in the nicest treehouse gazing out above the treetops. For hot days, there's a small/bricked patio area w table/chairs and grill to lounge around. Kitchen is well supplied. Vicky (owner) was always quick to respond to any questions. Minor issue---wifi was sometimes spotty but if you're coming here to escape this should not matter. Am hoping to return next summer.

Summary: Very nice house and property...side yard was beautifully manicured and terrific for my family. The house made good use of space with a comfortable living room and efficient kitchen in an open concept and upside down configuration. Large master bedroom upstairs with access to outdoor deck and 3 bedrooms downstairs with nice size laundry and outdoor shower. 2 of the 3 bathrooms were current or renovated. AC unit in master bedroom was helpful; the rest of the house had plenty of fans but might benefit from additional AC units or central air. The owner was exceptionally friendly, very responsive and accommodating to all of our questions and needs. Would definitely recommend this house for anyone visiting the island.
