Positive: The beach was 50m from the dining area and easy to access; The swimming pool was also situated within 50m of the dining area. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Will definitely go back if I get a chance!

Negative: Lighting in the rooms could have been better!

Positive: I loved the the beach most, water is too shalow for swimming, but still can get a decent dip during high tide. Pool is well maintained and good for some morning laps. Staff is very friendly and ready to help. Ask for cocnut water, which is available at the beach.

Negative: For this kind of resort you would expect a pick up from train station. Restaurant selections seemed to be quite limited, but overall quality is good. Some unfortunate maintenence issues with broken lock, which I do not blame staff for at all and they did everything to solve it.

Positive: A wonderful place: spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Special thanks to the hotel manager, who was welcoming and helped resolve an issue with the air conditioner extremely quickly. Good sleep is very important when traveling, and it was truly appreciated. The hotel’s beach area is clean and well maintained. We came mainly for snorkeling, but unfortunately at this time the water was murky and the coral reef seemed dead. However, the beach itself is long and public, perfect for long walks. We stayed for two days, and during that time both breakfasts and dinners were very enjoyable (we chose from the menu). There is a large swimming pool. The massage therapist was excellent — special thanks for the high level of professionalism. I have a lot to compare with. Overall, there is plenty of activity: evening movie screenings, billiards, a bar, and more. We personally preferred enjoying nature and a calm, relaxing stay. The gym was small but had everything necessary; the only downside was that it felt stuffy, so it’s better to turn on the air conditioning in advance. Everything was great!

Negative: The hotel was not polished to the extend we expected, fitness facilities were broken, the food buffet was not as full as presented, prices not cheap (most expensive old fashioned ever seen). Overall the price of the hotel did not reflect the standard - except for the staff, which was excellent

Positive: We did enjoy our stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was super nice. We travelled with two children and the child friendliness was of great importance for us and was happily fulfilled. The beach is good and sea is suitable for swimming in high tide. The food was delicious and various.

Negative: Mosquitoes we're not my favourite accompany.

Positive: The staff were exceptional in every regard. I am gluten free and informed the hotel ahead of my arrival. They could not have made more effort with assisting me with this and the food throughout our stay was varied, tasty and a delight to discover. The best gluten free bread I have ever tasted, baked especially for me, daily! Good value hotel, but rates in keeping with a 5 star hotel in the city. The facilities were adequate and a luxury feel in terms of well appointed and designed rooms. Good AC, clean and spacious. We were upgraded to a sea view pool villa ( booked a garden view) which had a lovely feel and ambience. Very spacious and lots of room to relax. Recommend asking for a first floor villa/room. The swimming pool and beach facilities are excellent though the beach is a bit shallow for swimming. For good snorkelling you need to book a trip, locally not much to see. The bar was by the pool area with indoor and outdoor seating an option. Nice air conditioned environment for the bar and a pool table were good additions. The gym is small but adequate. The restaurant area is in the shade but open air, so be aware regarding some tendency to flies and the occasional crow cackling away looking to see if they can find leftovers. Very lovely and attentive staff made this holiday a real escape and relaxation. There is a calm and uplifting vibe. The spa has a sauna and steam room and good reasonably priced options for massage.

Negative: Comfortable bed but the pillows are not so comfortable. Could do with options for softer feather pillows. The bathroom is outdoors which some may find less inviting after sundown.
