This apartment has a large terrace and is located within walking distance of the buzz, shops, restaurants and major sights.
This bright 60 m2 apartment is situated in a typical Amsterdam canal house, on one of the main canals: the Keizersgracht (the Emperor s canal).
The apartment is located on the first floor and has its own private entrance by and can be reached by stairs or elevator. The apartment also has a private roof terrace and conservatory attached to the living room.
It could not be more convenient and charming. Surrounded by the famous 9 Little Streets with trendy little shops, boutiques, coffee & breakfast cafes, restaurants and take away. In walking distance from Dam Square (Royal Palace) and many major tourist attractions like the Anne Frank House (10 min walk) and the very popular Quarter Quarter, with lovely shops, restaurants, take-aways and open air markets.
Always wanted to see a houseboat from the inside? The famous and quaint Houseboat Museum is just around the corner.

Summary: This apartment is in the middle of the ‘nine streets’ and everything is nearby. The apartment has a large private terrace, a comfortable bedroom and light filled kitchen, living and dining room. The shower is great! And Peter, the host is terrific. Highly recommend.

Summary: Peter was very communicative and kind. He was at the apartment when we arrived, and had explained all possible ways to get there, which was very much appreciated. The apartment is lovely, clean, luminous and very well located. It was the perfect place for a long weekend, and is probably great for a longer stay too. Highly recommended.

Summary: My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Peter's place. To begin with, he is very responsive, professional, and helpful. He was flexible with our arrival and showed us around the apartment while offering suggestions and answering our questions about the city. The apartment is beautiful (just like the pictures!) and Peter's gift of wine, snacks, and flowers made us feel right at home. The addition of a terrace was really special too! Lastly- and perhaps most importantly- the location is AMAZING! We never walked more than 20 minutes to anything including the museums and the streets surrounding this apartment are full of wonderful restaurants and shops (we particularly enjoyed Jansz.) We've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs/VRBOs and this was in our top 2 favorite!

Summary: Peter was great with communication at every stage and was really helpful with special requests. We had a late check in and Peter still met us, showed us round and even gave us some great tips for places to visit. The apartment is spacious and beautiful and in a perfect location. You are right in the pretty 9 streets area and within walking distance to all the major sights yet far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle. Would definiately recommend and will definitely stay again! Thanks Peter! :)

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here! Peter met us upon check in and walked us through the property and provided recommendations on things to see, restaurants, etc. We also felt that our every need was anticipated and prepared for to make our stay even more enjoyable! The location was also amazing and in the rear of a canal house; attractions and public transport were within easy walking distance. We would highly recommend staying here!

Summary: The pictures of this apartment are beautiful, and the reality is even better. This is a comfortable, well-kept, impeccably clean space, and I don't think we could have asked for a better location. The kitchen is well equipped; we were able to make breakfast and some other meals here with no issues. The bed is comfortable, and the space is so quiet. It IS a 250-year-old building, so you can hear neighbors occasionally, but never late and never intrusively. And the location - ahhhh! We joked that everything was an 11-minute walk from the apartment, and it's only a slight exaggeration. Multiple tram lines are close by, Museumplein is a 15-minute walk away, and central station is also super close. The surrounding streets are beautiful and full of interesting shops and restaurants. Which we felt well informed about thanks to Peter's thorough directions, which included both a notebook of highlights and a tour upon check-in, wherein he asked us what we were looking forward to doing (we also emailed some about this) and ensured that we were able to take advantage of his considerable knowledge about his city. It would be hard to do better for a place to base your stay in Amsterdam. Part of that is location, part of that is an inviting and comfortable apartment, and part of that is a thoughtful host. I'll definitely be recommending this space to friends.

Summary: Large, comfortable apartment with separate areas for seating and dining; lovely garden area that we didn't get the chance to use due to weather, but nice to look at; the hosts were amazing - Peter gave us lots of useful information before and on arrival; lots of thoughtful additional touches like providing condiments, coffee and chocolates really made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this place. It was more than we would usually spend as we like to budget but this place was definitely value for money as it was so close to all the main attractions, like the Rijksmuseum, and located in a really picturesque part of town.
