Summary: A very nice place with roomy kitchen and bathroom. The view from the house is unbelievable. Although the parking is offsite but it is only 50 ft away. It is close to the designations that we wanted to visit, including Konigsee, Ramsau, Salzbergwerk, Salzburg and Chiemsee. The weather is so mild at the end of May. We had a great time.

Summary: Ill fitting keys to property and no numbers on doors. Was very uncertain entering the property. A map to the exact location of the property would be useful with direction to the best road into the village to take, Everything else was very good.

Summary: The apartment was fantastic for our family of four -- spacious, terrific kitchen, comfortable sleeping, great balcony, and a very scenic area. However, we reserved this particular apartment specifically due to its location to the lake, and we were planning this portion of our trip to include many activities at the lake, and especially our teenagers who were looking forward to beach time. When we arrived at the office to pick up the keys, I asked where the closest access to the beach is from our apartment -- and that is when we learned the lake was dry. That news was surprising, and very disappointing. I feel we should have been notified much sooner of this significant change, and a discounted rental rate would have been appropriate. In addition, we had a very hard time finding the office to get the keys -- our iPhones were not registering the office address we had been given, and for quite some time there was no answer on phones numbers we were given. That inconvenience, in addition to the lack of a lake, were very discouraging. The apartment itself was wonderful -- the disappointing lake situation, and check-in/check-out process was not.

Summary: This property was a fantastic place to experience Schwangau. The property had an onsight property manager who was very helpful with our after hours arrival and telling us about things in the area. The unit was very clean, but the listing is a bit misleading as there are 3 units in one house and the pictures do not necessarily match up with the unit you will stay in. We thought that we would have the nicer kitchen in the pictures, but did not. However, being on the top level we had outstanding views of Neuschwaunstein castle.

Summary: Loved the area, and apartment. Very convenient to nearby town(s) and castles and lovely walk and bike rental option. Will say that the two day beds in alcove (NOT second bedroom) for our second adult couple were not comfortable and better suited for children. The bed in large master bedroom was good. WiFi was weak so needs improving IF you need to work. Great parking and very quiet safe neighborhood. Good communication and welcome introductions by friendly owner. Great info package/booklet. Ok for casual cooking but could use a couple more pots etc for bid dinner cooking. Loved this region in autumn! Would definitely stay again if only two adults.
