Negative: We would have liked an information folder about the house. Particularly how to use the television. There were no tea towels in the kitchen.

Negative: *Oven had no temperature indicator - very hard cooking Xmas lunch for 20 *water continually dripping onto floor from pipes under sink in kitchen *top floor shower pressure VERY low. Unusable * dishwasher lower rack broken - hard to load plates *one baking pan insufficient for a house sleeping 14 people

Summary: We enjoyed our stay because we are adaptable and we made it work but for £3000 + we were disappointed in the above.

Positive: Lovely location and very well furnished for a large party. Host was friendly and helpful, despite a mixup over a double booking (which was not her fault).

Negative: Only minor niggles. The decor could do with some TLC in places, but she’s working on that. The kitchen is a little tight, for space, and washing up in the cramped sink area was a bit of a challenge. The job has a number of burners which were a little temperamental, but still perfectly usable.
