Positive: Cottage had plenty of space,nice fitted kitchen,television in every room and a jacuzzi bath. The location was lovely and quiet with plenty of country lanes to walk the dog. There was a local shop and pub just a few miles away.
Negative: The roads in the area have alot of potholes so you have to be quite careful when driving.
Summary: Very nice and quiet place.

Positive: Clean, spacious and private with all the amenities. The extra bathroom and downstairs loo were a real bonus and we received a warm welcome from the owner. The Junction Inn pub at Halwill Junction (a couple of miles up the road) is very friendly and serves good home cooked food. Cornwall and north Devon were close and we visited Padstow, Tintagel and Boscastle. RHS Rosemoor isn't far away and is a wonderful day out.
Negative: The bed was a bit too soft (personal taste) and some low lighting in the lounge would have been nice. Take a hairdryer as there isn't one provided. Everything else was fantastic.
Summary: A brilliant find and very convenient for lots of sightseeing across North Devon and Cornwall.
