Positive: Plenty of space, very clean, kitchen fully provided with implements, ground floor all accessible, all electrical household equipment provided, useful file of information. Welcoming milk and biscuits.
Negative: The driveway to park car is narrow and difficult to negotiate a car onto a busy road. The sound of traffic can be heard in the main bedroom.

Positive: The fireplace, internet, TV, WONDERFUL upstairs bathroom, good working washer & dryer and a roomy cottage
Negative: Had to retrieve the keys out of a lock box with ZERO light as the above light was solar powered. It was also raining and unless I used a PEN TO PUSH IN THE CODE, the lock box wouldn't work. This alone is unacceptable. Also, getting out of the driveway is EXTREMELY dangerous as the vision to either side is blocked. The small mirror did nothing when the car front was beginning to exit the driveway. This place seriously needs a professional deep cleaning on EVERY surface and EVERY cabinet and handles plus the towel heaters. The upstairs shower needs the mold completely removed (I scrubbed out some to feel a tad more comfortable).
Summary: Great location, authentic and roomy.

Positive: Very clean, nicely decorated, love the upstairs bedroom with the hare wallpaper.. Bathrooms very comfortable and clean. The sun porch and gardens were lovely! it was quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly.
Negative: The ceilings were quite low, but we managed.
Summary: very comfortable and cheerful. Small but Forest did just fine.

Negative: Downstairs bath, would prefer a shower or ability to stand & shower in a bath because of mobility issues.

Positive: The cottage was lovely. Only problem was that the ceiling is low in the sitting room as there is a beam running down the centre so my husband kept hitting his head. Also there is only space for one car - we had two - and it was too dangerous to park the car on the narrow road which had no street lighting. We parked it in the village which is about 5 minutes away.
Negative: To have been allowed the use of the garage which was empty but locked for our second car. Also the mirrors over the wash hand basin are very low
Summary: Very enjoyable. A very comfortable cottage which was very well equipped with all mod cons

Positive: The decor was the real stand out. It was so well thought off and just so wonderful. The location too is really nice, in the small cosy village of Bampton. The location is fantastic both to have a relaxed holiday and to move around to site see in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.
