Positive: My friend and I stayed with Riyas between the 24th and 27th July and he was the best host we’ve ever had. We loved the hotel so much, we even decided to extend our stay in Gaafaru! The communication was fantastic even before arrival and Riyas organised transport to and from the airport for us. Upon arrival to the island, we were greeted with coconuts which was a nice touch! He also organised excursions (swimming with sharks and a trip to the sandbank) for a reasonable price, and also took incredible photos and videos for no extra charge. The breakfast provided was fantastic and the host was very accommodating to our dietary needs (we are both vegetarian). We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel every night and despite being vegetarian, we did not run out of things to choose from. The hotel was in pristine condition: the wifi worked perfectly and there was air-con and a fan in the bedroom, and a mini fridge! The bikini beach was a 2 minute walk from the hotel which is where we spent the majority of our time. After 6pm, you can go and see the stingrays at the beach which was cool, especially getting to feed them 😊 Overall, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had whilst travelling and would recommend to anyone visiting the Maldives! 🇲🇻

Positive: The hotel is new and the room was very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi works great, high speed and stability! The host is a very nice person, he waited us at the jetty and he gave us coconut welcome drinks. He also gave us free beach towels. The bathroom and shower are amazing and also free toiletries are provided. He was always there to help us, the bikini beach in Gaafaru is one minute walk from the hotel and the water is absolutely clear and breathtaking. The hotel is just near the stingray point, where we had the oportunity to see, feed and touch the stingrays. The hotel arranged for us to have all the meals at a nearby restaurant, where the food and drinks were one of the best tried by us in the Maldives. Highly recommend this place! Positive: I spent five wonderful nights at the Sunrise Lagoon and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This hotel is one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Every detail was taken care of. One of my favorite parts was being able to watch stingrays just a few steps away from the hotel every evening, it was absolutely magical and peaceful. We also went on a turtle snorkeling trip, which I highly recommend. The hotel arranged everything seamlessly for us, including the trip at a very reasonable price. Another excursion nearby was the nurse shark snorkeling tour. I didn’t join it this time, but I’m definitely planning to next time! In terms of location, Sunrise Lagoon is hands down the best hotel on Gaafaru. It’s brand new, exceptionally clean, and perfectly located. Hotel owner, Riyas, ensured everything went smoothly from transportation to all other details, we felt completely at ease the entire time. On arrival, we were warmly greeted with fresh coconuts, and our room was immaculate. The children bed was also spacious and comfortable. The hotel also went above and beyond with meal orders, ensuring that we were never left waiting for our food. Every evening, we had our meals without delay. This truly was a 5-star experience. Gaafaru’s beach is peaceful and stunning, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Without a doubt, I’ll be staying at Sunrise Lagoon again!

Positive: The room is clean and tidy, with well-equipped, new facilities. It offers great quality for the price. Gaafaru Island is an ideal choice for relaxation and entertainment, with very friendly locals. Tourists can see stingrays and sharks by the shore in the evening. I booked snorkeling and cruise activities through the room host, and the experience was fantastic. The host was warm and welcoming, addressing most of my concerns.

Positive: Guest house is located near the beach ,literally 2 step from the sea and the bikini beach .The location is absolutely stunning.The owner of the apartments is a very polite friendly person.In front of the guest house,you can see huge stingrays that come to the beach to eat . we stayed for 07 night how ever Due to Amazing hospitatlity we extended 04 more night. highly recomonded place for family friend who love to travel in budget.
