The Space:
This beautifully decorated cape house offers stunning sunrises, water views, and waterfront activities nearby. Kayak, bike ride, or check out the local boat charters for sightseeing and whale watching. Head down to road to Perry's Lobster Shack near the public beach for fresh lobster off the boat!
The stunning blueberry fields in front of this family home slope down to the ocean and offer a spectauclar view of the mountains in Acadia National Park. If you want to explore the sprawling 90 acre property, at the far end you will discover another breathtaking waterfront view and beach access!
The property is fully stocked with everything your family will need to prepare those delicous meals on the grill or in the kitchen. There is ample seating on the screened in porch in the Maine salt air. Take in the spectacular sunrises from the deck, all while enjoying your perfect cup of coffee.
First floor:
A fully stocked kitchen with views from every angle. The living room has a flat screen TV and a heat pump for AC on those warmer days.
Bedroom: Queen bedroom with plenty of storage and a large closet.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with a walk in shower.
Washer/dryer are convenient for your use on the first floor.
Second floor:
The two very large bedrooms upstairs have two beds in each and lots of windows for that ocean view! Bedroom #2 has a queen sized and double sized bed. Bedroom #3 has two double sized beds.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with a tub/shower and plenty of space.
Outdoor space: Screened in porch with a dining table, and propane grill. The expansive deck on the front of the house has an awning for those days in the sunshine!
There is a shorefront behind the house down the walking path. Its a hike but worth the walk to the beach access and more mountain views. Down the street you can visit the public beach, and Perrys Lobster Shack for fresh lobster dinners waterfront.
There is hiking, biking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.
Blue Hill and downtown Surry are close by, with restaurants and grocery stores.
Acadia National Park is about 35 miles away.
Ellsworth is about 15 miles
Kayak rentals, boat charters, and hiking are all available locally.

Summary: We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The location was wonderful. Beautiful view, quiet area, and just a short drive to the sites. The information we received from Susan was so helpful in planning our excursions for the day. We spent time at Ellsworth, Acadia, Bar Harbor, Bangor, and Surry as well. Each offered a special Maine touch to our trip.

Summary: Location was great. So close to the National park entrance and away from all the huge crowds in Estes Park. Even with the entrance construction on the Falls River park entrance, it was still much easier entering the park.

Summary: The condo is ideal for one or two people looking to spend time in Rocky Mountain National Park. It sits just outside the Falls River entrance in a great setting. Everything in the unit worked well, and it hadeverything I needed.

Summary: The property was as described and overall good. Here are a couple of comments. Wow, the bar-be-que grill was really unclean. Also, we spent every day in RMNP, and nights at the condo. The business hours of the property manager did not coincide with the hours that we had cell phone service.

Summary: This is a lovely property that is perfectly situated so that the only thing you hear is the stream, yet it sits right off the highway leading to the Park. The unit we stayed in would be good for a couple such as us or for a small family. Lots to do nearby and the hosts were very welcoming. We'll look at it again when coming back.

Summary: The Wildwood was perfect for our stay. The location was very close to the park entrance. The room was stocked will all the items we needed and the staff was quite accommodating. The wild turkeys and elk made morning coffee on the river breakthakingly beautiful!

Summary: The sound and view of a river(stream) while sitting on the Deck is about as relaxing as getting a 1 hour massage, except you can sit on the Deck for s long as you like. You are away from the crowds of downtown Estes Park. So you want to view some wildlife, well our first night we were walking along the river and not more than 40 feet away were 2 bull elk on a steep hill and thrashing on a tree eating the tender stuff. The next morning we were greeted by 2 turkeys coming down to the stream to get some water. The condo itself was very clean and in good shape. Our party are outdoor-type people so we didn't spend a lot of time in the unit itself. The next time we stay in Estes Park, would I look for this unit to stay in? Not even a second thought, book me Dano!!!
