Summary: Overall, the stay was good. The room had a couple small cosmetic issues, but nothing that really matters. It's almost impossible to get anyone to answer the Sun Club phone extension. Consierge will answer regularly, but if you're a Sun Club member, they refer you to Sun Club again. My only serious conplaint was about laundry service. There is a $100 USD deposit on laundry service and the balance is credited to you once the service is done. After I paid the deposit, the service wasn't picked up for over 24 hrs and the Sub Club phone calls went unanswered. I had to take my laundry to the Sun Club for them to take to laundry. ANOTHER 24 hours later, I had to go back to the Sun Club desks because the calls went unanswered again. Housekeeping wasn't answering for them, so I was told to wait longer. "Nothing more can be done". Laundry was returned after 10pm. My laundry credit wasn't mentioned at checkout, I had to ask about it. They took my email address and I was supposed to receive an email to issue my balance. Still waiting on the email 8 days later. The facility is great, the staff is great, the food is all pretty good. Definitely enroll for the Sun Club and definitely go to the spa. Stay away from laundry service.

Summary: Sunscape Curacao is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff was always curtious and friendly! The beaches are beautiful and the restaurants have plenty of delicious food!

Summary: Staff was friendly, drinks were good, resort is right on the beach. We had to wait almost every time we went to the buffet or one of the restaurants. Went to the Spa, had a massage and facial, both were wonderful. Resort is in desperate need of renovations though, I don’t think the Hyatt has put any money into it since it was built in the 60’s, the staff do what they can with what they have.

Summary: The staff at this property tried really hard but obviously didn’t have the support they needed to succeed. The facilities were borderline awful. Dirty rooms. Unresponsive front desk for simple things like water. Unorganized dining options and wait lists. They need a dinner pager system so badly, I almost want to buy one for them! The pools were dirty. The beach towel staff member was one of the most inconsiderate, rude individuals on the staff. The male bartenders were rude. The buffet would run out of food 2 hours prior to closing. I was with my husband on a trip without our kids and we made the most of it; however, we would never recommend the island or this resort to anyone.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beaches/pools were beautiful! One night they had a fire show which was really awesome. Our room was nice and clean with a pretty and spacious balcony. The only issue was the water was only warm not fully hot. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. The food was okay. We loved the hibachi, but most of the places were just okay. One thing they should work on is increasing the availability of chairs. Most days people are saving chairs with towels at 7AM leaving no open chairs. Even though people put their towels on the chairs, you will see many chairs without anyone sitting on them for hours. They should work on enforcing the rule of not saving chairs with towels or putting out more chairs to fix this issue. Another positive was the bus station right outside the hotel which can drive you to downtown. It was very convenient. There are a few issues, but overall it was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Third time staying here. Best part is the Sunclub beach and the ladies who work down there. Zoraida, Sylvia, and Verona are amazing! So kind and always have a smile and good story. Stayed on the first floor this time and was actually very cold but so convenient to the pool and beach. New towels in the Sunclub are super soft. Great improvements from two years ago. Glad to see familiar faces again. Can't wait to come back again. Wish they had a frequent visitor club!
