5 Bedroom Place in Montgomery

Country house with 150 exotic animal farm like deer, horses, goats, ostrich and chickens. Very close to Farmhouse wedding venue,ranch house wedding venue and renaissance festival. Fishing for releasing, canoeing ,kayaking and peddle boating. Stars and sunset are gorgeous.no neighbors within 2 miles. It’s not fancy hotel but just like a real country house. Ranch looks like a zoo. Our most popular attraction is the Texas renaissance festival about 15 minutes away. Historically important Montgomery is just down the road, with many excellent restaurants in the area. Ransom, pizza shake etc.
We got an airstrip if you have an airplane.

One important thing is it has A/C but it doesn’t have a central heating system for winter. We got fan heater,fireplace in the center of the house and each room got space heater. So far we had never heard of complaining about the cold.
Two king bedrooms, three queen bedrooms and three private bathrooms and one sharing bathrooms.

Summary: Perfect property and stay for our out of town guests for wedding at the Farmhouse. House stayed warm during crazy freeze. Loved the 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms to get ready. Fireplace in living room was perfect gathering place. Loved it would stay again!

Summary: We have stayed at this location for the past 4 years to spend Saturday at the Texas Renaissance Festival with people who were in our local high school band booster organization while our kids attended there. We have enjoyed our Friday through Sunday at this location. Very peaceful! Love it!!

Summary: The property was amazing and just minutes from the Texas Renaissance Festival site. We also tried out a couple of local restaurants that were very good. Plenty of room for everyone, and we loved all the animals! The hosts were also very sweet and helpful.

Summary: This property was so cute! It's a huge house with plenty of space for adults to sprawl out. We had 7 adults, and 2 children, and we had a blast! The chicken coop is a few hundred feet from the front door, and we LOVED seeing the chickens released every morning! We also got to see the Ostriches, Deer, and other farm animals right from the front door! It was exquisite! The host is extremely communicative, and she left us very good directions to the property. Since it's in the middle of a private farm, it's very dark at night, and a little difficult to navigate. But the host was there to help us out! Very pretty, and we would 100% book again for our next trip to the Ren Fest!

Summary: We all absolutely loved this property and location! As others have stated, the property is off-the-beaten path. However, the owners provide excellent directions. Try to get there in the daylight so you can see the gorgeous property! We arrived at dark and did not want to venture back out. What a surprise awaited us in the morning! Beautiful land and animals surrounded us! Although it was warmish, we opened the windows and used the indoor firepit and made s'mores. What a treat! We all slept so great on the comfy beds. We ate a delicious cafe called Sweet P's. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the chicken fried steak; it was fork-tender! We then spent the day at the Renaissance Fare which wasn't too far away. We all had another great night of sleeping and enjoyed the morning before departing. I was able to bring my 2 small dogs without a extra charge. We had a small problem with a couple of the toilets. The available plunger took care of one but the other we had to leave for owners to take care of. (So sorry!) We absolutely want to come back but have an extra day to explore more! I highly recommend this property just not on our weekend please!

Summary: It was challenging to find the first time, it is a large house and roomy enough for our entire immediate family to stay under one roof. For our daughters wedding weekend. It’s an older home but we had no issues and the property is very relaxing and we loved watching all the animals while sitting on the patio for coffee in the mornings. Also plenty of parking as we were staying with our Adult children and all driving separately. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for a large family.

Summary: We used this property for a graduation party. Everyone that came loved it. It is hard to find and many were skeptical but appreciated it once they got there. We enjoyed the free roaming peacock, the gazebo on the water, the paddle boat and the safari tour. It was a wonderful weekend. The hosts were also so very kind and helpful.

Summary: We had an excellent time. The property and location are awesome. The hosts are very nice. They took us out to see all the animals and were so gracious to tell us all about them. Our niece loved it! She got to pet a baby goat! We will be back.
