Positive: Zuela is a great host and was waiting to meet us at the apartment when we arrived. She also organised transport to and from the airport, which was super helpful. The apartment is in a great location, 10 minutes' walk from the lively pedestrian street of Santa Maria and across the road from the beach. The pool and gardens are lovely and very well maintained. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Zuela is on hand for anything you need.

Positive: Had a perfect stay. The host Zuela met us in person and shared some tips about the surrounding area. The apartment was spacious and had everything we could need (kitchen, fridge, washing machine, microwave, safe, ...). The building has extra security on the ground floor. The beach was very close (less than 10 minutes by walking). Getting to the center of Santa Maria was easy too (15-20 minutes by walking).

Positive: The apartment is perfectly located for the beach which is only a 5 minute walk, and the town at around 10 minutes to the pedestrian street and its restaurants. It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay. Although we didn’t use it, the pool is clean and well maintained as is the apartment complex. There are a couple of mini-markets on the doorstep for essentials. Ponta Preta beach is close enough to walk with a couple of beach bars. Zuela is the perfect host, on hand when needed but not intrusive, she couldn’t have been better.

Positive: Nicely decorated, lots of day to day things you need, well thought about. Good communication and available if needed
Negative: Could have a mirror in the bedroom. Although there was a washer we cleaned the apartment and changed the beds. Not a big issue but not something I’ve had to do before.
