Positive: Great Location, Perfect Place to Relax. Shuttle to 2 further hotels in very close distance was ideal if you wanted to have Beach Access. Diving Center at the hotel was excellent as well as the Short Distance to the atoll. Also we appreciated that the Hotel Group has a inhouse Hotel Doctor to Support with our son‘s middle ear infection.

Negative: We checked in on my brother’s birthday. Unfortunately, nothing was done to celebrate it. The next day, another family checked in, and it was the woman’s birthday — the staff brought her a cake and sang a song. My brother was very upset because on his actual birthday he received nothing, while others were celebrated. It left us with a very disappointing impression.

Positive: I absolutely loved my stay and would absolutely go back again! It’s a small hotel with beautiful grounds, stunning pool and scenery looking onto mnemba island. There is no beach, but this didn’t bother me with such a beautiful view and you can get the shuttle bus to the sister hotels (azure and sunshine bay) to go onto matemwe beach. I did this and have to say that I’m so glad I didn’t choose either of those hotels and was happy to go back to mine. I had a lodge room (number 1) looking out to sea and I could have stared at the view forever! The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much hassle. The food was lovely, a wide menu with a range of specials on each evening. There’s plenty of room by the pool and there’s little areas of sun beds if you don’t want to be right next to the pool. There are only a couple of beds that get the complete sunshine all day, just to note for other sun worshippers! I don’t know why other reviewers have put more negative comments as they’re really not deserved, people should read the description of the hotel and know there is no beach before commenting that there isn’t a beach!!

Positive: The property is amazing. Beautiful people, very clean resort, the restaurant is amazing. They also have in-house dive company - dive point and also in-house excursion manager who will brief you about all the tour packages and excursions that you can do. They will arrange private tour for you too. Overall was an amazing experience. Highly recommend.
Negative: No private beach access from this property. If you need to go to the beach, it's a short 10 mins drive from this property to their sister hotel called Sunshine Bay Hotel.
