Summary: We had a lovely two-night weekend stay at Super 8 Chester. The location was spot-on for visiting the Christmas Markets in both Chester and Manchester, and having McDonald’s, Costa, and Co-op right next door made everything even more convenient. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and ideal for a festive weekend base. If we’d had a bit more time, we could have explored even more — but for what we managed, it was just right. A great stay overall!

Summary: Room was ok. Pillows felt cheap and far too soft, they made you too hot. Bathroom was good and very clean but water didn’t soak away very fast and you couldn’t hold water in the sink. Breakfast was disappointing but the staff were very helpful in the morning. The reception when we arrived wasn’t great, he needs some customer service training. Evening menu was really limited plus the dining area is very small and was full of families with small children running around so not good for eating and relaxing. The dining area definitely needs looking at as not appropriate for a hotel stay.
