Negreet Retreat is a water front home located in a quiet calm cove excellent for fishing. A super short boat ride gets you to the main lake of Toledo Bend and a 5 minute boat ride to Cypress Bend resort. This new, clean and cozy lake house has its own private concrete boat launch, fishing pier and floating dock. 2 single person Kayaks are included for you use during your stay. The boat house has one powered boat slip ( sometimes 2!) for your use along with a fish cleaning station with water and electricity. Excellent views from the large patio with comfy furniture. Enjoy any type of water sports or just relax by the fire pit! Excellent retreat for relaxing and watching birds of all sorts. We have added a whole home generator so no worries there. We have No outrageous cleaning expectations! We just ask that you take trash to the road in a bag, we even provide the bags 😊.

Summary: Four longtime friends. We had a very relaxing fun time at your beautiful Negreet Treat. We will definitely be coming back. From the beautiful views to the beautifully decorated cabins to the huge back porch with the comfy lounging furniture. And those Eagles all around were awesome!

Summary: This is our fourth time staying at this property. Tim and Valerie provide an excellent home to relax and enjoy time on the lake with family. The fishing is always spot on and the house has always been clean and comfortable.

Summary: Perfect size for 3-4 adults and a few kids. Everything works perfectly and as advertised. Literally the only negative we found, and it was a stretch, is a gravel road to property, and it’s in good shape. We’ll be staying again for sure.

Summary: This was our 2nd stay and as usual, we had an amazing time! Best place to stay on Toledo Bend! Beautiful view, Boat house with automatic lift, private launch on property, fish cleaning station, and large covered patio with BBQ pit and gas fire pit. The hosts, Valerie and Tim, are wonderful!

Summary: Everything from beds to couches to patio furniture was comfortable. The house was clean and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet. The view from the patio was perfect for the morning cup of coffee. Caught lots of blue cat and perch from the dock. Caught lots of chunky bass within a half mile of the property on the lake. This was the best birthday weekend trip we’ve had in a long time and will definitely book again.

Summary: The house was easy to find, easy checkin, clean & much bigger than it looks from the outside. The patio was wonderful it had everything needed to cook outside & comfortable patio furniture to enjoy the awesome views. We will definitely rent again.

Summary: We are from the area and wanted a nice cabin to getaway for the weekend, this was perfect. We caught catfish around the clock. The perch weren’t biting just yet but we’re hoping to stay again soon. Cabin is directlyAcross from alligator hole.
