You'll love staying in The Pinery, because of the safe, relaxing location and comfortable, clean accommodations. With so many nice reviews, you will be assured of a great stay. The Pinery is located near Parker, CO, about 30 miles from downtown Denver and 35 miles from Denver Airport. Sit back and relax in this peaceful location with deer wandering around the neighborhood.
The space includes:
-Basement with shared home entrance and access to the backyard either through the garage. I live full-time above the apartment.
-Inviting, comfortable, and cozy.
-There is a small refrigerator and an extra full-size refrigerator in the garage (if you need the extra space), microwave, toaster, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee maker and milk brother, dinnerware, and utensils.
-NO stove/oven, dishwasher in the space, but long-term guests are welcome to use the main kitchen.
- Shared washer and dryer available for guests staying at least a week.
-BBQ grill for guest use on the deck. Supply your own charcoal.
-One bedroom with a comfortable queen bed.
-Full-size futon that opens if you have an extra guest.
-3/4 bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and basic toiletries.
-Sitting area with a full futon for an extra guest, OTA TV, and Roku stick with some premium streaming services. You are welcome to log in to your own apps if you'd like.
-I provide coffee and tea to start your day with. Sit back, relax, kick up your feet.
-Relaxing, peaceful patio with table and chairs, and a yard that is shared occasionally with my friendly dog and cats, and lots of birds. Start your morning with coffee and breakfast on the patio.
-Secure wifi
-I live upstairs and am an early riser but do my best to be quiet if you're downstairs. Please let me know if it's too loud upstairs and I'll adjust accordingly. You have your privacy but I'm available if you need anything.
There are resident cats and two very sweet dogs, so if that's a problem for you, or you have allergies, please find another place to stay. I am dog friendly for well-behaved, non-aggressive, and quiet dogs and cats. You may NOT leave your dogs in the apartment while you are gone, as I have had issues with dogs barking for hours on end when left alone.
If you're looking to book for an extended stay, bear in mind that the apartment does NOT have a full kitchen, though you are welcome to use the main house kitchen. If you require a kitchen and don't want to share mine, please do NOT book this location.

Summary: I had such a great stay at Carols place. Her house is in a beautiful neighborhood, and the space is clean and private. Everything that I could have needed was provided, making it easy to feel at home. It was lovely getting to know Carol as well, she is an amazing and kind host. This will be my first choice when I come back!

Summary: We were having our floors refinished but didnt want to stay thru the noise, dust and not able to get to the kitchen and bathrooms so we looked into options. We found Carol's place and saw that it was pet friendly. We asked carol how she felt about 4 cats and there was no hesitation she accepted! We loved the homey feel, the quiteness and all of the wildlife around. It was a great stay.

Summary: Chose this location because of proximity to old friends and bike trails. Missed having a full kitchen. Had a couple of hospital visits that disrupted my time here.

Summary: We have family in Parker, and needed a place to spend 17 nights with a pet. For us, the location was central and convenient, but it is a ways from downtown Parker and certainly from Denver itself. From the wording in the listing, we had the impression that there may be direct access to the outside through "a lower level walk-out." , but this is definitely not the case. It is a basement with emergency egress windows into a tunnel-like space with a metal ladder. You get some diffuse light during the day, but you cannot see outside. Access to the apartment is not ideal. You must go via a gate into the backyard, then through the garage and into the house to access stairs down to the apartment. You will be greeted by the owners animals every time coming and going. Do not expect to sleep in past 6:45 or 7:00 AM as you will hear the owner and her pets directly over your bedroom. Note, the property photos have not been updated in a while, some of the items shown have changed.

Summary: We were out of our apartment due to flooding and this was the perfect place to stay. The rooms were clean and she was very welcoming. Beautiful location with wildlife present.We did feel a lack of privacy at times and noticed she would come down to the basement when we were gone. It wasn’t a big deal just occurred multiple times. Also if you do not like animals there are dogs and cats present that you will encounter daily.

Summary: Carol is the best host and is very accommodating. The yard is large and beautiful, my dogs loved exploring in it. The basement apartment is updated and was just perfect for us!

Summary: This was a great property and well located to the major routes. Carol was helpful in providing local intel. I was in town to review potential retirement communities, so location was key. I did bring my pet's kennel, however she was more content to spend the entire day outside while I was with my real estate agent. I was very happy that she is an animal person. Highly recomend this host.
