Summary: We really enjoyed the quiet location, the pool and the good location for sightseeing. The only pity was at times the weather, but that was bad luck.

Summary: Beautiful apartment, in great location (just below the chateau in lovely village on the Canal). The owner (Nathalie) gave us a great welcome, and was very helpful. There were a couple of tiny problems with the kitchen, which were resolved very rapidly (one was that we didn't know how to operate an induction hob!) Pool was lovely, but the pool and the fitness area were a bit "end of season." Would highly recommend the apartment.

Summary: We have just returned from a lovely holiday in this first floor apartment. Booking was easy, and Nathalie responded quickly to email enquiries. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable and had a good assortment of pans and cooking utensils for cooking (important for me as I have food allergies and struggle to eat in restaurants). The pool was lovely - spacious with loungers and deck chairs and a gate restricting access from the grounds into the pool area, but not to the pool itself. Some of the gym equipment did not work but not a big deal for us. Off road gated car parking shared with adjoining gite and was big enough for 5 cars. Washing line provision for drying pool towels and washing. Lovely fig trees in the garden (& can eat the fruit!!). Argens Minervois is a pretty canalside village. There were 2 restaurants and a food shop in the village (bikes available for use for the bread run etc) and Supermarkets (Intermarche, Lidl, Aldi,& Spar) within 5 miles.We enjoyed many walks along the Canal du Midi (some lock gates had cafe's and restaurants) and the local lake 5 mins from the apartment.. Narbonne 40 minutes by car, Beziers 1hr, Carcassonne 1 hr, Perpignan 1.5 hrs. Good base for exploring the area - so many places to visit within an hours drive. Minerve warrants a special mention as so pretty and only 25 minutes drive away and nice walks. Plenty of leaflets in apartment and guides books (in French), you will not be short of ideas for visiting towns, monuments or wandering the canal network or hiring boat on the canal. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would like to return in the future.

Summary: We have just stayed for a week in the property and had a wonderful time, its a very well furnished and comfortable property with beautiful outside space. The property is a first floor which allows you to get a nice breeze in through the windows, although there is air-conditioning which was amazing on those hot days to walk into a cool room! There is a lovely open plan living room/kitchen which has a well stocked kitchen and comfy sofas with a large TV. There are then two double bedrooms which are large and the beds were comfortable, a separate toilet and then a very nice large modern shower. I can see from previous reviews that people have complained about the internet...I can confirm it is very good and a fast service and no issues at all! The outside space of the property is beautiful and it shows that a great deal of care and thought has gone into the garden. There are lots of little seating areas with many beautiful trees and plants, also a nice little pétanque area were we enjoyed many games in the evening. The pool area is again wonderful and is safely fenced off, there is artificial grass all around the pool which is brilliant when the kids are running around, they don't slip on it and it doesn't get hot. The pool is nice and warm and good size, it has lots of steps and also a ledge around the pool which again is brilliant for the kids. There is the small gym area but we didn't use this but can confirm its there and everything appeared to work. Its a very quiet area where the property is situated however there is a great little shop that stocks lots of items, also a wonderful restaurant that are both within a 7 minute walk. The owner was great for communication and lives next door, she was always for any questions or queries we had. We had a great time here for a peaceful week and would recommend booking if you want a the same!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay & Nathalie was a very good host. The accommodation was really good, with an excellent living/dining space & kitchen. There are 2 good sized bedrooms & a nice bathroom. The garden is really nice & the pool, which is heated was very welcome on a hot, sunny day. The location is excellent being a very short walk to the Canal du Midi. It's a great start point for cycling along the Canal Towpath or adjacent quiet roads. I would definitely recommend staying here.
