Summary: Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts.

Summary: The home was perfect for our group of 9. It was very well stocked and the large farmhouse table was nice for dining in. We loved the beautiful large fireplace and were able to have a fire one of the evenings. Enjoyed the ping pong table, as well. Chateau Chambord was close by but the home is a little northeast of the action that is closer to Amboise. Loved the house, but may have preferred being a little closer to more of the restaurants, shopping. Don’t miss Chenonceau! Stunning.

Summary: If you’re looking for beautiful, spacious lodging in a peaceful place, then Crouy-sur-Cosson is it! Very responsive host who assisted with everything from directions on operating appliances to providing outstanding local places to dine as well as activities! I would highly recommend this property when visiting the Loire region!

Summary: We had an amazing time at La Pavie. It is a beautiful house with everything we needed on a stunning piece of land. The owners are incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Our children, ages 6 and 2, instantly felt at home. Highly recommended.

Summary: We really loved our stay in this home. It is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Sylvie who hosted us was lovely and even arranged to bring us fresh vegetables and tomatoes.The house is large and has enough space for a large group to enjoy common meals while each still having their privacy. We also loved that there were four bikes available at the property for our use.

Summary: Our family visited us from the USA and England and we spent 5 days in this most amazing house. It is tastefully decorated, a perfect marriage between old-world charm and modernity. The house is extremely spacious, with 5 good-sized rooms and very comfortable bathrooms. We were 10 adults and 3 kids and the house could have easily accommodated many more! We especially liked the fireplace - the ideal place to read and relax, and to have the evening drinks! Much appreciated too was the entertainment / children's area, sufficiently isolated from the main living area but we were still able to keep a watchful eye. And...thank you Monique for providing games and DVDs (in English, too!!) for children! During the day, we took long walks along the grounds of the house. We even had a picnic in the fields. We spotted deers and wild boars, and of course ducks and herons. Ideal location too - a stone throw's away from Chambord and a good starting point for visiting the Loire Valley's castles and wineries. Thank you Monique for your beautiful home....and for the sparkling wine as a welcome gift. We spent an amazing 5 days and thank you for the memories. Our children are already asking us if we can go back one day.
