The Guesthouse has the perfect set-up for any time that suits a stylish space to relax, enjoy good company, while being central to everything in Maleny.
The Residence comprises four bedrooms and two bathrooms in an original 1920's gracious Queensland country house. In addition are four self contained studios/apartments connected via an internal staircase. In total we provide eight bedrooms with six bathrooms, sleeping up to 15 persons.
This gracious home boasts genuine 1920 period features refined attention to detail, including hardwood timber floors, high decorative ceilings, VJ walls, imported French chandeliers, and wool carpeting. Relax overlooking the trees from the covered patio or mingle in the downstairs Common Room.
Feel free to explore our lovely house and enjoy all its charm.
We don' t live on site - so the place is all yours! However, we are only a few minutes away and are available to meet your needs
The Guesthouse is in beautiful green surroundings in Maleny, which has the Baroon Pocket Dam for fresh water fishing and kayaking, and the Maleny Golf Club. It’s a short drive to other popular tourist towns such as Montville, Mapleton, and Kenilworth.
It is an easy 300 meter walk from The Guesthouse to all the cafes and speciality shops that make Maleny so charming to visit.

Summary: A lovely place to stay - well appointed and walking distance to Maleny. Indoor and outdoor living areas were inviting and comfortable for our group occupying the entire house.

Summary: This location would have to be amongst the very best in the region; clean, warm and fitted out magnificently for a weekend of relaxation and entertainment. The local region has so much to offer and the townships are inviting and interesting to explore. Cannot recommend highly enough to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in the area.

Summary: Our stay was wonderful, the property is very well equipped and met the needs of our large family group. We aged from 3 months to 93yrs. It was wonderful being together. Only challenging matter for us was when cleaning staff appeared without notice in downstairs table area at 9:15am. I said we are still packing up and baby needs to be fed. It was a surprise to find “someone” in our family space. Then to be told it’s okay you have plenty of time yet and she started to prepare her exit clean by stacking linen on the dining table, ringing other staff who then arrived and also walked into our space. Very awkward, put a dampener on the whole experience. The staff weren’t rude or anything but their unannounced presence made us uncomfortable. Otherwise would highly recommend this magnificent property. Would absolutely use again.

Summary: A beautiful venue. Everything we could need for a large family group. The fire made it warm & cosy. Spotlessly clean & beautifully furnished. A great central location. Very easy check in/out.

Summary: We chose this lovely home for our yearly sibling get together. The accommodation for fifteen people was superb, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very comfortable. We loved our stay here.

Summary: This place was absolutely fantastic. I rented this entire property for 14 people and we all had more then enough space to be apart or all together. Great walking distance to all shops and cafes. Peter and Jill were a delight to deal with.
