Positive: The location is quiet and convenient, walking distance to downtown and Church street. The apartment is clean and spacious with two sofas and a full kitchen.

Negative: For light sleepers it might be good to know that you can hear footsteps from the owner's unit above. Rating a bed is not entirely valid, since everyone's preferences are different. For me, it was a little too soft.

Positive: Ideally suited for our needs. We travelled to Burlington (from Montreal) by bus, and hired a car for three days to explore this beautiful area of Vermont. Burlington is a small town with a busy pedestrianised Main Street, situated on picturesque lake Champlain. It was good to be able to cook & eat at the property, so enjoyed spending the evenings relaxing after long days out. A visit to the Shelburne open air museum is highly recommended! James, the host, is very pleasant and we really appreciated that he alerted us about something we had left behind, which fortunately we were then able to return and pick up before leaving the area.

Negative: Did feel that the apartment would benefit from better lighting, a couple of mirrors and a bit more equipment in the kitchen - we struggled to find something suitable to cook pizza, so a pizza tray is definitely needed.

Positive: the location was excellent, in a nice area, a short walk from downtown. easy access with a number, owner made sure we had the details prior to us getting there. plenty of towels for us to use. plenty of room. car parking space.

Negative: the bed was not very comfortable. the apartment could have done with a better clean, getting into all the corners, etc.

Summary: good value for money in an excellent location
